They set everything in motion and are vital to their teams. The best liberos I saw at the River City Junior’s President’s Classic are listed below.
Lulu Ahl – Lulu is a really good libero. She is low to the ground and makes her job look easy. She attends Millard West High School and will graduate in 2022. As a sophomore she only got to play in 15 sets but had 5 digs, 7 serve receptions, and 4 service aces. She is definitely one to watch!
Samantha Steele – Samantha attends Millard South High School and will graduate in 2020. She had a .919 serve efficiency with 29 aces, and 5.2 DPS last fall. She really performed for her team at this tournament and deserves a shout out for her performance. Nice job, Samantha!
McKenna Greenwell – McKenna has great court awareness and positions herself to take advantage of that fact. She plays for the River City Juniors 18 Red team and played very well at this tournament. She communicates with her team very well and that was vital many times for her team this weekend. Her play was vital in keeping her team alive during many sets at this tournament.
