This is a hard time for so many players who are missing their teams, practices and tournaments. Let’s take a look at some 2022 middles since their recruiting window is about to change June 15th. Colleges will be able to contact them, and I’m sure they were counting on colleges watching/evaluating them during this club season. We at Prep Dig are dedicated to covering athletes at all levels, so look for some new names to check out! Middles have a tough job and having good middles is instrumental in having a successful team.

Bekka led her team in kills 3.4 per set (313 kills), blocks (82), and aces (43); and added 291 digs. Bekka is on VCNebraska 18 Elite playing up 2 years with other University of Nebraska commits.
[player_tooltip player_id="58798" first="Sadie" last="Millard"] | Millard West | Premier 16 Gold | Class of 2022
Sadie is a dynamic middle. She’s quick and has a great vertical leap. She led Class A in blocks last high school season. Her timing is superb and she’s also got a great serve! She’s a great asset to her teams. She had an incredible 175 blocks and 158 kills for high school. Sadie also had 24 aces. You can watch her here: [player_tooltip player_id="58798" first="Sadie" last="Millard"]

Alexis Gates | Lincoln Southeast | VCNebraska 16 Elite
Alexis moved to Varsity this past season for LSE. She added 1 kill per set but lead her team in blocks with 63. She has a quick, powerful swing that will continue to develop.
[player_tooltip player_id="58790" first="Laci" last="Abendroth"] | Millard South | Premier 16 Black
I’ve seen a lot of growth in Laci the last few years. She’s stronger and smarter on the court. Laci stepped into starting middle for Millard South this year with 1.4 kills per set (125) and 41 blocks. She’s a strong middle for her club team with a quick set and her finding a way to get the kill. She’s great on the slide.
[player_tooltip player_id="37554" first="Chloe" last="Cloud"] | Grand Island Central Catholic | Class of 2022
Chloe and her team made it to the state tournament and were State Champions!! This multi-sport athlete had 152 kills and 81 blocks for GICC. GICC Volleyball highlight
