Elle Glock, Wahoo.Elle Glock – As a hitter her freshman season, this 6’0 junior transitioned into the setter role seamlessly. With a core group of teammates in the back row and attacking, Glock put up 1016 assists along with 35 blocks and 242 digs last season. LIBEROS
Paige Lukasiewicz, 2021, St. Paul Vs Skylar McCune Skylar McCune 5'9" | DS/L Gretna | 2022 State #53 Nation NE , 2022, Gretna
Paige Lukasiewicz – St. Paul’s consecutive state tournament appearances started when this 5’4 junior was a freshman and they had a stellar middle hitter. Opponents found out quickly that season that this libero didn’t allow ace serves and was always in that seam that hitters were trying to hit. In 2019, Lukasiewicz dug the ball 399 times and had 333 serve receptions on their way to a Class C1 runner up finish.
Skylar McCune Skylar McCune 5'9" | DS/L Gretna | 2022 State #53 Nation NE – Yes, the 5’8 McCune can prove herself through the front row having 420 kills in 2019, but it is her defensive play that stands out for the Dragons. No matter how McCune touches the ball, she seems to put the right angle on it for a pass to the well with 456 digs and 644 serve receptions. Gretna made it to the semi’s in 2018 and a 5 set heartbreaking thriller to a runner up finish in 2019 with McCune in a uniform. Pictured above.
