The relationship between a setter and their middle is an important one. Some of the most difficult sets are made to the middle hitter. Likewise, these big hitters have to constantly maneuver around the court so they don’t get in the way of the setter. If the two share a strong connection, the team will have more success. Here are 5 duos looking to capitalize on the bond of setter-middles at Odd Cup in Rochester.

MVA 17 Elite - With several of the players on this team from Cambridge Isanti, it easy to understand how Hailey Christenson and [player_tooltip player_id="72070" first="Allyson" last="Treichel"]l have become such a great pair. Treichell is one of the most powerful hitters with her fast snap on the ball. Christenson is 5’6’’ and makes her time on the court count with precision setting and tough serving.
