M1 Athletes Talk Recruiting Process Going The High Academic Route

Finding the next step for college can be a stressful situation for any student.  Location, major, to play sports to not play sports, the campus life, the list goes on.  For Sarah Luong Sarah Luong 5'10" | MB Benilde-St. Margaret's | 2020 State MN , Kathleen Bishop Kathleen Bishop 6'3" | MB St. Paul Academy | 2020 State MN , and Christine Jurgens Christine Jurgens 5'11" | MB Eagan | 2020 State MN of M1 Volleyball, they will be heading to some top tier schools in Emory, Princeton, and the University of Chicago. 

I took the time to chat with Sarah, Kathleen, and Christine via a Zoom meeting, a popular video meeting format that plenty of volleyball teams and schools are using to have online classes and meetings.  We are fortunate to use it for Prep Dig, getting a chance to connect with athletes and coaches.  

We talked about the recruiting process as far as how the application process goes for some of these schools, finding the balance between academics and athletics, and what questions and steps to take in order to make the best choice in finding your academic and athletic future.
