<div>The final round of the draft is here and the emphasis is upon the combination of team need and best available prospect. Although the last pick for each squad these eight prospects have great skills to make a big impact here. </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>"The pick is in."</strong></div> <div> </div> <div><strong>ROUND 10</strong></div> <div> </div> <div><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="58843" first="Estelle" last="Haugen"] - 6'0 | OH | SW Christian</strong><br /> Haugen has an arm and her point scoring ability intensifies given her ability to elevate and swing with power and range. She has great confidence in her ability to make things happen on the left side. Her footwork and approach patterns are fluid and she develops great momentum into her last two steps. She also has good length and hang time with ability to make adjustments to her swing and placement while in the air. She is definitely among the elite pin attackers in the class of 2022 and will be a big part of the SW Christian effort heading into the 2020 high school season.</div> <div> </div> <ul> <li><em><strong>Team Red roster after 9 rounds: [player_tooltip player_id="10105" first="Kennedi" last="Orr"], [player_tooltip player_id="71942" first="Lauren" last="Crowl"], [player_tooltip player_id="10088" first="Kira" last="Fallert"], [player_tooltip player_id="58018" first="Skylar" last="Gray"], [player_tooltip player_id="58104" first="Claire" last="Vekich"], [player_tooltip player_id="71967" first="Raegan" last="Alexander"], [player_tooltip player_id="73495" first="Kate" last="Thibault"], [player_tooltip player_id="86644" first="Ava" last="Blascziek"], [player_tooltip player_id="72762" first="Natalee" last="Rolbiecki"], [player_tooltip player_id="58843" first="Estelle" last="Haugen"]</strong></em></li> </ul> <div><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="71955" first="Ella" last="Thompson"] - 6'1 | MB | Lakeville North</strong><br /> Thompson continues to emerge as one of the most aggressive middles in the Minnesota 2021 class. The growth in her confidence has matched the improvement in her skills as well as command of the ball in the middle. She has good elevation to terminate on a quick attack in front of the setter while showing increased effectiveness off one foot on a slide option. The South Dakota State commit will be a key factor once again for Lakeville North as they return several pieces that helped them earn a trip to the class 3A state tournament in 2019.</div> <div> </div> <ul> <li><em><strong>Team Orange roster after 9 rounds: [player_tooltip player_id="58016" first="Erin" last="Lamb"], [player_tooltip player_id="71945" first="Abby" last="Stark"], [player_tooltip player_id="72776" first="Elle" last="Cotton"], [player_tooltip player_id="58020" first="Elizabeth" last="Dille"], [player_tooltip player_id="58061" first="Abbey" last="Milner"], [player_tooltip player_id="72075" first="Nicole" last="Post"], [player_tooltip player_id="73491" first="Sydney" last="Schnichels"], [player_tooltip player_id="73469" first="Avery" last="Bolles"], [player_tooltip player_id="72766" first="Maddie" last="Converse"], [player_tooltip player_id="71955" first="Ella" last="Thompson"]</strong></em></li> </ul> <div><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="58042" first="Megan" last="Liu"]- 5'9 | S | Maple Grove</strong><br /> The Grand Canyon University commit has some of the best athleticism among all the setters drafted. She has great quickness and good springs off the floor that impact her play in every facet. She develops consistent hand position with each contact that makes her a tough read. Combine that with her ability to distribute the full range of the court with good pace and location and her hitters see a lot of great opportunities to score. She can also impact the game defensively with her quickness. Her Maple Grove squad has a core group of personnel returning that should compete well throughout the season.</div> <div> </div> <ul> <li><em><strong>Team Yellow roster after 9 rounds: [player_tooltip player_id="31583" first="Sienna" last="Ifill"], [player_tooltip player_id="57498" first="Megan" last="Reilly"], [player_tooltip player_id="72060" first="Emma" last="VanHeel"], [player_tooltip player_id="58022" first="Ryley" last="Frye"], [player_tooltip player_id="84487" first="Ella" last="Wheatcraft"], [player_tooltip player_id="58039" first="Delaney" last="Foerster"], [player_tooltip player_id="84949" first="Kate" last="Simington"], [player_tooltip player_id="73471" first="Mya" last="Cinnamo"], [player_tooltip player_id="29784" first="Bailey" last="Olson"], [player_tooltip player_id="58042" first="Megan" last="Liu"]</strong></em></li> </ul> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="31595" first="Kendall" last="Minta"]  - 6'3 | MB | Eden Prairie</strong><br /> Minta is a great addition to this squad given her ability to impact the game from both the middle and opposite side of the floor. She continues to improve her offensive skill set, which is a big deal given her ability to score at this point in her career. She opens well to the setter on a quick option and can beat a block with her high contact point at the opposite position. On the defensive side she loads her block well with good explosiveness and pressure across the net to slow down hitters. Minta is just tapping the surface of what she is capable of and it will be exciting to see her continue to progress into an elite prospect.</p> <div> <ul> <li><em><strong>Team Green roster after 9 rounds: [player_tooltip player_id="10110" first="Emma" last="Torstenson"], [player_tooltip player_id="58014" first="Sophie" last="Jesewitz"], [player_tooltip player_id="71946" first="Lauren" last="Galvin"], [player_tooltip player_id="71950" first="Brooke" last="Weichbrodt"], [player_tooltip player_id="58083" first="Bryn" last="Hoekman"], [player_tooltip player_id="72804" first="Katy" last="Riviere"], [player_tooltip player_id="73493" first="Kaitlyn" last="Sellner"], [player_tooltip player_id="73481" first="Mikayla" last="McDougall"], [player_tooltip player_id="58028" first="Karsee" last="Kampsen"], [player_tooltip player_id="31595" first="Kendall" last="Minta"]</strong></em></li> </ul> <div><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="58067" first="Rachel" last="Wieber"] - 6'0 | OH | Northfield</strong><br /> Wieber adds good depth to this roster from the left pin and in the areas of ball control and defense. The Southern Utah commit has become an impact athlete because of her improved progress as a six-rotation athlete. She has good elevation and develops balance in the air that maximizes her contact point well and creates room for her to swing through the full court. Her skills in the ball control facet are terrific as she reads the floor well and executes here with good patience that allows her angles to react effectively. Wieber will be among a few key factors for Northfield that could see them competing for the a state title the final weekend of the 2020 season.</div> <div> </div> <ul> <li><em><strong>Team Blue roster after 9 rounds: [player_tooltip player_id="71941" first="Ava" last="Moes"], [player_tooltip player_id="10109" first="Paige" last="Thibault"], [player_tooltip player_id="71948" first="Madelyn" last="Hornyak"], [player_tooltip player_id="72761" first="Keya" last="Luta Win Hunt"], [player_tooltip player_id="31579" first="Sierra" last="Moore"], [player_tooltip player_id="72839" first="Hannah" last="Pharr"], [player_tooltip player_id="86273" first="Peyton" last="Howie"], [player_tooltip player_id="73483" first="Molly" last="Minnema"], [player_tooltip player_id="71952" first="Jolie" last="Stecher"], [player_tooltip player_id="58067" first="Rachel" last="Wieber"]</strong></em></li> </ul> <div><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="71954" first="Kinsey" last="Cronin"] - 5'11 | MB | Medford</strong><br /> An all-state 1st team performer for Medford, Cronin can flat out tag the ball. She has been a huge part of the Medford rise at the state level over the past couple of seasons, which has included her getting a lot of opportunity to swing within their offense. And rightfully so given the power she can create off of her arm. One of her best attributes when attacking is her vision as she can swing sharply through both sides of the opponent's court, which has proven difficult to defend when she has open space between or around the block. Medford loses some supporting elements for Cronin heading into 2020 but their quick rise and success recently should mean they will compete well to return to the final weekend.</div> <div> </div> <ul> <li><em><strong>Team Indigo roster after 9 rounds: [player_tooltip player_id="31577" first="Julia" last="Hanson"], [player_tooltip player_id="58029" first="Kali" last="Engeman"], [player_tooltip player_id="71943" first="Jasmine" last="Weidemann"], [player_tooltip player_id="71959" first="Jadyn" last="Garrison"], [player_tooltip player_id="71964" first="Kelly" last="McArthur"], [player_tooltip player_id="71963" first="Emma" last="Grimm"], [player_tooltip player_id="86410" first="Katherine" last="Arnason"], [player_tooltip player_id="73475" first="Sydney" last="Jaynes"], [player_tooltip player_id="58844" first="Hannah" last="Reichensperger"], [player_tooltip player_id="71954" first="Kinsey" last="Cronin"]</strong></em></li> </ul> <div><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="31576" first="Camryn" last="Greenwald"] - 6'1 | MB/RS | East Ridge</strong><br /> Another elite prospect in the making as part of the class of 2022, Greenwald has great offensive versatility. A Suburban East all-conference honorable mention selection in 2019, Greenwald has improved her ability to impact the game with her arm. She can score from the middle on a quick option but has shown significant progress as a dynamic right side attacker. She has great elevation and torque in the air to generate good power off two feet on the pin or through a slide option. Her size also helps her impact any match defensively at the net from both positions. She could be an x-factor for East Ridge this season as they have solid ball control and offense on the left side. Her ability to contribute in the middle and overhead if needed could be huge for them towards their goal of state trip.</div> <div> </div> <ul> <li><em><strong>Team Violet roster after 9 rounds: [player_tooltip player_id="31585" first="Kendal" last="Kemp"], [player_tooltip player_id="58032" first="Teagan" last="Starkey"], [player_tooltip player_id="31616" first="Lilly" last="Wachholz"], [player_tooltip player_id="72760" first="Simara" last="Amador"], [player_tooltip player_id="71970" first="Aleah" last="Zieske"], [player_tooltip player_id="72089" first="Elise" last="Rossing"], [player_tooltip player_id="73468" first="Arianna" last="Blohm"], [player_tooltip player_id="86636" first="Sydney" last="McDaniel"], [player_tooltip player_id="71961" first="Jaidyn" last="Brower"], [player_tooltip player_id="31576" first="Camryn" last="Greenwald"]</strong></em></li> </ul> <div><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="30738" first="Ashlyn" last="Olson"] - 6'0 | RS | New London-Spicer</strong><br /> Olson was a class 2A all-state honorable mention selection as she helped New London-Spicer navigate a competitive and successful 2019 season. The North Dakota commit has a terrific all-around skill set as an opposite. At 6'0 and left-handed she provides some of the best offense from the right side of the court among the 2021 class. She has great arm work in the air as she opens to the set to create torque and power through her swing. On the defensive side as a blocker she prepares well with good load and balance and can close down hitters quickly with good vision and an aggressive finish across the net. Look for her to make a huge impact again this fall as she finishes out her high school career.</div> <div> </div> <ul> <li><em><strong>Team Pink roster after 9 rounds: [player_tooltip player_id="58017" first="Payton" last="Evenstad"], [player_tooltip player_id="72767" first="Britt" last="Carlson"], [player_tooltip player_id="84909" first="Sylvia" last="Koenig"], [player_tooltip player_id="71951" first="Kiya" last="Durant"], [player_tooltip player_id="71956" first="Toryn" last="Richards"], [player_tooltip player_id="72048" first="Morgan" last="Chmielewski"], [player_tooltip player_id="73485" first="Emily" last="Moes"], [player_tooltip player_id="86637" first="Ada" last="Schlenker"], [player_tooltip player_id="71960" first="Sacia" last="Vanderpool"], [player_tooltip player_id="30738" first="Ashlyn" last="Olson"]</strong></em></li> </ul> </div>
