These five pin attackers all have stock rising potential and deserve attention and evaluation.

[player_tooltip player_id="31579" first="Sierra" last="Moore"] - 5’11 | OH | Wayzata | Prep Dig #57
Moore might be among the underrated players in the current rankings list. She has a complete set of skills as a six-rotation outside hitter. Attacking, she develops good momentum that leads to an aggressive last two steps to the ball. Some of her most dynamic work comes in the air as she can strike the ball well as a result of good torque as well as arm and wrist control. At 5’11 she has good mobility and quickness as a passer as she reads the serve early and can develop great angles. Her size helps her defensively as she has expansive range and good skills to pursue the ball in all directions. With the graduation of some key offense at Wayzata from a year ago, Moore should be in position to vie for significant opportunities in defending class 3A state champion’s rotation. Her opportunities this year with MN Select's top 16s team will benefit her well this next fall.

[player_tooltip player_id="86767" first="Emma" last="Campbell"] - 5’11 | OH/RS | Academy of Holy Angels | Prep Dig #66
Campbell has good lift and elevation off the floor with ability to contact the ball at a good location above the tape. She has good quickness in her footwork to transition and prepare early, which allows her to get her last two steps to the ball well. An area for improvement is creating more balance in the air that will allow added elevation and ability to hit with more control and range. If she can develop a double-arm lift by leading with the left side towards the ball in the air she will become more effective and efficient. As a six-rotation attacker she has good serve receive ball control as she sees the ball well and pursues to contact without wasting much movement. Her athleticism is a big asset and refining her arm work will help raise her stock.

[player_tooltip player_id="72804" first="Katy" last="Riviere"] - 5’11 | RS | Wayzata | Prep Dig #74
Riviere has some of the biggest upside among this collection of attackers. The left-handed opposite continues to prove her value on that side of the floor with her point scoring ability. She has good vision through her approach work and when in-system and on tempo she can hit for power through all parts of the court. She has good versatility in her ability to adjust her approach pattern during the flow of the point or option an off speed play in the air. Her transition and approach footwork have become more fluid and she is a scoring threat from the back row as well. With Wayzata's graduation of their elite lefty opposite from last year’s state championship team, Riviere is the likely successor to assume the bulk of the swings from that side of the court. Look for her to jump in the rankings at their next release.

[player_tooltip player_id="72813" first="Makenzie" last="Coplan"] - 5’10 | OH | Cambridge-Isanti | Prep Dig #85
Coplan is an electric attacker. She has good footwork and can generate a lot of pace through her fast arm. She gets to the ball well and completes her approach work with good lift and balance that allows her to often swing with full power. She has good court awareness as she can put a fluid swing on the ball to all zones and in response to the block in front of her. Coplan is a key factor for Cambridge-Isanti as part of a tandem of hitters that gets a lot of offensive opportunities and scores a lot of their points. She has great energy as her aggressive attacking style can be a big spark for her team. As a rising junior, her experience competing for MVA’s top 17s team should benefit her play this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id="72827" first="Emma" last="Slusser"] - 6’0 | OH/RS | Park | Prep Dig #97
Slusser is a rangy athlete. At 6’0 tall she has long arms that help her in multiple facets of the game. As a pin attacker she has good elevation and potential for high contact at the peak of her jump. She looks most comfortable and successful with a mid-tempo option as opposed to something higher and out of system. By developing better rhythm, timing, and torque she will be able to hit at her peak more consistently and with more range. Her size and length are a big asset when blocking as this is an area that she shows good patience and movement to get up and over the net. Slusser is one to keep an eye on as with added experience and skill refinement her stock will rise.
