[player_tooltip player_id="31616" first="Lilly" last="Wachholz"] - 6’2 | OH | Mayer Lutheran | Prep Dig #5
Wachholz will enter the 2020 high school season with a different look around her as Mayer Lutheran graduated two terrific Division I middles that produced a lot of offense and defense over the past couple of seasons. Wachholz was a primary option on the pin and will see an increase in her opportunities that should amount to a lot of attack attempts. She is a proven point scorer with her size and approach work as she can create a high contact point that is finished well by good power and movement through her arm swing. She has good versatility in her offense as she can score from the pins and quicker options in between, which makes her that much more dangerous. She has DI potential herself and is more than capable of producing offensively and defensively for the Crusaders. Wachholz was a 2019 class A all-state 1st team selection.

[player_tooltip player_id="58843" first="Estelle" last="Haugen"] - 6’0 | OH | Southwest Christian | Prep Dig #6
Haugen is one of the best six-rotation athletes in this Minnesota class. She looks very comfortable through her pass or no pass to attack movement. Her footwork is fluid and she builds great momentum through to her lift. In the air she has good hang time and arm control to swing through a variety of zones. On the defensive side she prepares with good patience and eyework. She is savvy in transition and can make adjustments to her attacking options as needed. Haugen has great upside to her game and continues to create great experience as a primary attacker for a very competitive Southwest Christian team and for the top 16s team at Northern Lights. A 2019 class AA all-state honorable mention selection, Haugen has a great opportunity ahead of her this fall to raise her stock as a top prospect even more as she will continue growing her numbers for the Stars and try to help them take the next step in the postseason.

[player_tooltip player_id="72797" first="Brynn" last="Reines"] - 6’1 | OH | Rogers | Prep Dig #17
A Northwest Suburban all-conference selection as a sophomore in 2019, Reines is a big offensive threat at either pin for Rogers. She has good length at 6’1 and elevates well. With good step-close action she develops helpful torque in the air. As she utilizes well her arm and shoulder through the ball upon contact she can generate a lot of power to drive the ball through the opposing defense. She also shows good vision and awareness and has the ability to swing aggressively cross-court and down the line. She has been playing extremely well for the top MN Select 16s team as she gets a fair amount of offensive opportunity through the front row. She has a pin counterpart at Rogers that, combined, they make for some dynamic offense. Look for Reines’ contributions to be more efficient and effective this 2020 high school season.

[player_tooltip player_id="72792" first="Adri" last="Rhoda"] - 6’2 | OH | Hutchinson | Prep Dig #19
Rhoda has some of the best athleticism and explosiveness in this 2022 Minnesota class. At 6’2 she has terrific lift off the ground that includes a recorded 10’1 touch. She was a key factor for Hutchinson on both the left and right side as she complemented their strength in the middle well in 2019. Her continued development is moving her further away from the raw athleticism category into an athlete showing more defined movement patterns and footwork. She has looked more comfortable through moderate to quick attacking options as opposed to out-of-system offense. As her timing grows more consistent she will be very difficult to slow down. Defensively, she is a big presence at the net and has continued to develop her eyework and timing to get up and over the net fast to put pressure on opposing attackers. Her experience this club season with the top MN Select 17s team has proven valuable to her game as she has tremendous upside and potential as a next-level prospect. Look for her to see a lot of offensive opportunity this next fall for the Tigers.

[player_tooltip player_id="72810" first="Abby" last="Stanwood"] - 5’9 | OH | Minnetonka | Prep Dig #25
Stanwood had a great season for Minnetonka in 2019 as she was one of their top offensive threats. She helped guide the Skippers to the class 3A state tournament as they seemingly got better as the season progressed. A varsity member for multiple years, she has great footwork with some of her best activity in her last two steps. She gets to the ball well, which allows her to elevate on balance and attack at the peak of her jump. She has a fast arm through contact on the ball that can generate good pace. Stanwood has solid six-rotation skills with good read and reaction to the serve that starts with a balanced position and creates great angles with her platform. She plays with a lot of confidence that translates well throughout the Minnetonka side of the net. The Skippers have some good offense returning and Stanwood will once again be a key factor in their effort in 2020. Don’t be surprised if she helps get them to the final weekend of the season once again.
