RESPECT ALL. FEAR NONE. The Silver Lake slogan defines this teams’ ability to respect all aspects of the game, teammates, coaches, and opponents and together have fear for no one. And that kind of confidence comes from a team averaging 5’5, probably the most vertically challenged team in the bracket.
As the Mustangs continue to place more checkmarks in the win column each season, 2020 offers a host of returning letter winners and starters after graduating one senior from the 2019 roster. Climbing the ladder to success, Silver Lake’s record was 2-23 in 2017, 6-21 in 2018, and 16-13 in 2019. The Mustangs lost in the second round of sub-districts last year.
Coach Jenn tenBensel comments, “HOPEFULLY our season gets to start on time! I know the girls were bummed not being able to get together as much as we have in the past off-seasons! We are returning all but one girl off of last year’s 16-13 team! I feel that we have girls that will push for that position! I see this group of girls being competitive in every aspect of the game! I can’t wait to see what the volleyball season of 2020 has in store for them!”

Brooklyn comments on her the support, “My team has improved tremendously from the beginning of my freshman year. Our crowds at games have left no spots open and huge support from our communities.
