Our rankings cover 100+ athletes in this class, but there are still a handful of gifted players deserving of our time and attention. Here are 5 seniors hoping to make an impact, get noticed and perhaps continue on into college.
Lindsey Root | 5’7’’/ OH | St. Charles | Root’s best attribute is her athletiscm. A three sport athlete who excels in track. She has shown interest in a couple of smaller-out of state colleges, but would be a game changer at a smaller D3 school or community college. | ||
Mayla Hanson | 5’9’’ / OH | Mankato West | Last year she was a consistent contributor on the outside for West. She is part of group that has help West reclaim their dominance; they finshed second in the Big 9 last year. Mayla and other returners will make a run to claim the title. |
Gracie Whitlock Gracie Whitlock 5'10" | S Kittson County Central | 2021 State MN | 5’10’’/ S | Kittson County Central | Gracie is a tall, quick-handed setter who could easily transition to a college career. She has the ability to set in the back row and hit out of the front. |
Erika Krei | 6’/ MH | Farmington | Again, an athlete who’s tends to standout more in another sport, but has a lot of offer Farmington Volleyball as a middle hitter. Last year, she added a lot to the team on offense and defense. She is a smart player who loves to tip to the short left corner. Likewise, her blocking challeged opponents. Krei could easily become a dual sport athlete in college. |
