All-Macomb County Dream Team

<p>Macomb County is one of the top in the state for volleyball talent.</p> <p>An ever-improving area, this spot in the state has plenty of future Division 1 talent to display. It also has a lot of promising talent that hasn’t had a chance to break out, but will very soon.</p> <p>Here’s the players that have created a name for themselves over the last year from Macomb County.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="14188" first="Sydney" last="Palazzolo"], OH Eisenhower/Legacy (2021)</strong></p> <p>Palazzolo has been climbing up our 2021 rankings for some time and now currently finds herself in the top 10. The Eisenhower outside is already a High Point commit and is primed to succeed at the next level with her great finishing ability. Her all-around game has only gotten better as well during her club time with Legacy. Palazzolo is in for a big senior year.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="23440" first="Madison" last="Grace"], OH Fraser/Team Detroit (2021)</strong></p> <p>Grace carries the banner for Team Detroit as one of their top overall players and she has been a force within the state for years. Grace terminates at a high level on the left or right side of the net and she continues to display the composure needed to be a top all-around player. Fraser reached the regional finals in 2019 and will be a team to watch out for in 2020 with Grace leading the way.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50313" first="Jenna" last="O’Brien"], OH Regina/Michigan Elite (2021)</strong></p> <p>O’Brien can play either end of the net and finish at a high level. She was the go-to arm for Regina in 2019 and has continued to hold her own in a deep Michigan Elite 17 Mizuno hitting pool. The Saddlelites reached the Division 2 quarterfinals in 2019 and O’Brien was a big reason why. She will have Regina ready to make a push for another regional run in 2020.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50333" first="Kira" last="Buza"], MH Eisenhower/Legacy (2021)</strong></p> <p>Buza is a great pairing in the middle to go along side Palazzolo for both Eisenhower and Legacy 17-1 Adidas. The Oakland University commit doesn’t have the same height as her fellow middles around the state, but her explosiveness more than makes up for it. Buza has the athleticism and footwork to be a truly dominant middle over the next year.</p> <p><strong>Riley Kraiza, OH Stevenson/Michigan Elite (2021)</strong></p> <p>Kraiza came through with her best season in 2019, leading Stevenson in kills while becoming a reliable six-rotation option for the team. Krazia showed a lot of improvement in her passing and defensive skills in the last year. She continues to shine with Michigan Elite and will have Stevenson ready to make another playoff push in 2020.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="89335" first="Kiyah" last="Franklin"], OH/MH Romeo/Legacy (2021)</strong></p> <p>Romeo had some struggles in 2019, but Franklin has been a bright spot for the program. She can play anywhere at the net and excel, which is a valuable asset to have. The Youngstown State commit put in some strong months for Legacy 17-2 Adidas and has her sights set on getting Romeo back into postseason contention in 2020.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="24875" first="Karlee" last="Stoll"], S Anchor Bay/Legacy (2022)</strong></p> <p>Stoll is a great setter in the Class of 2022 that has firmly landed her spot with Anchor Bay and also has been a big piece to Legacy 16-1 Adidas. Stoll showcases the court vision and leadership you aspire for in a setter. She works with a lot of great hitters throughout the year to raise her game as well. Stoll’s consistency at the position is hard to duplicate.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="60840" first="Anika" last="Prisby"], MH Armada/Michigan Elite (2022)</strong></p> <p>Prisby has length that you can’t teach. She stands 6’4”, which instantly makes her a force on the court from the middle position. However, she’s more than just a measurement. Prisby is really coming into her own with her swing and blocking reads.
