Four 14th Region Senior Middles to Watch

<p>The 14th Region features several talented volleyball players in the Class of 2021, some of whom are middle blockers and middle hitters. </p> <p>Here are four 14th Region senior middles to watch.</p> <p><strong>Macey Howell:</strong> Among the most versatile volleyball players in the 14th Region, Howell is a middle blocker/outside hitter for Powell County. Howell was a key player for Powell County throughout the 2019 high school volleyball season, providing 268 kills, 70 blocks, 30 digs and 48 service aces in 35 matches. A stout hitter from the left side, Howell blocks well, both individually and with teammates.</p> <p><strong>Peyton Maybrier:</strong> An underrated player, Maybrier is a senior middle hitter for Estill County. A steady contributor for Estill County throughout the 2019 high school volleyball season, Maybrier registered 77 kills, 37 blocks, 15 assists, 75 digs and 61 service aces. Maybrier, who possesses a solid skillset, led Estill County in kills and blocks in 2019, producing frequently in multiple categories.</p> <p><strong>Kenzie Robertson:</strong> A consistent performer, Robertson is a senior middle blocker for 2019 14th Region champion Breathitt County. Robertson contributed for Breathitt County throughout its region title run in 2019, recording 74 kills, 29 blocks, 23 assists and 34 digs in 32 matches. An athletic player with solid jumping abilities, Robertson reads opposing defenses efficiently. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68095" first="Hailey" last="Stone"]:</strong> Dominant at the net, Stone is a middle hitter/outside hitter for Wolfe County. Stone thrived throughout the 2019 high school volleyball season, posting 428 kills, 71 blocks, 54 digs and 60 service aces in 34 matches.
