Well Rounded Players in Florida

<p>Becoming a great volleyball player is not just tuning in on one specific skill. A well-rounded player can be a game-changer in volleyball. It is a necessity to have a hitter who can also pass well in six rotations or a libero who can set out of system. Becoming familiar and comfortable with all positions on the court can make you so much more valuable. She takes to the volleyball court with such poise and confidence. She helps contribute to her team in many little ways. Her 6-foot frame allows her to put up a respectable block. She has a fantastic approach from both the front and back row. She has proven to be an efficient attacker, hitting .371 for her career. Her 79 aces also are a great advantage for her team. Even if her serve doesn’t go down as an ace, she can usually put her opponent out of system. She is a determined young lady who has even more potential in the future. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="98877" first="Audrey" last="Patton"] - 5’7" - Libero - Spanish River</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="98877" first="Audrey" last="Patton"] has a phenomenal serve and pass game. Her ball control is a key staple for both her club and school team. She can turn a tough serve into a three-point pass that allows her setter to run the offense. She has received nearly 1,000 serves for Spanish River. She averages 3.5 digs per set, totaling 670. She has a great eye for setting too. When her setter makes the first contact, Patton beautifully bump sets either pin. She is a relentless player who plays very low on defense. Her game is truly refined and precise. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="98886" first="Nyah" last="Molina"] - 5’8" - Setter - Lake Nona</strong></p> <p>Molina is an incredibly crafty setter. She has a very good location on every ball she contacts. Her upper body strength allows her to push the ball high and far out to her hitters. She can be creative and dump the ball on two. She has a flat and low jump float serve that has given her nearly 100 aces. She also has the versatility to run a 6-2 offense and be an attack option. It is very impressive to watch her transition on the court in so many different positions. She is very vocal which creates a competitive environment for her whole team. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="98896" first="Kelsey" last="Cabiness"] - 5’9" - Opposite - Glynn Academy</strong></p> <p>Cabiness is a multitalented volleyball player with a variety of shots. She plays some rotations on the outside and some on the right side. She can use her powerful right arm to put the ball to the floor. She is also highly effective when passing and defending in the back row. She has a good platform and footwork. She helps out her team from the service line, at the net, and even setting occasionally. She brings balance to her team by being reliable and consistent. </p>
