Top Ranked Players Have All Made Verbal Commitments

<p>The rankings are in place and now it’s time to start looking deeper at the long list of talented high school volleyball players in Kansas.</p> <p>All of the top five players at the top of the Class of 2021 rankings have already made verbal commitments to college programs.</p> <p>Here are the top five student-athletes at the top of Kansas Prep Dig initial rankings.</p> <p><strong style="font-size: 1rem;">S, [player_tooltip player_id="105481" first="Kendra" last="Wait"]e, 5’10”, Gardner Edgerton (Ranked No. 1)</strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">– Waite is considered to be the top volleyball player in Kansas. She received multiple Division I offers and chosen to play at Creighton. She has a successful club career and will look to lead Gardner Edgerton to the State Championship Tournament in 2020.</span></p> <p><strong><strong style="font-size: 1rem;">OH, [player_tooltip player_id="105482" first="Caroline" last="Bien"], 6’0”, St. Thomas Aquinas (Ranked No. 2)</strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;">– </span></strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Bien plays outside hitter for St. Thomas Aquinas, but could also play libero at the next level. She has verbally committed to Kansas University.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 1rem;"><strong style="font-size: 1rem;">MH, [player_tooltip player_id="105483" first="Sarah" last="Bingham"], 6’3”, Shawnee Mission East (Ranked No. 3)</strong> – Bingham is the tallest player in the Top 5 for the Class of 2021. She was received multiple college offers to Division I schools and has committed to play at the University of Illinois.</span></p> <p><strong>S, [player_tooltip player_id="105484" first="Laurel" last="Jones"], 6’1”, Maize South (Ranked No. 4)</strong> – Jones is a special player who can play any position on the court. However, she has verbally committed to Marquette University to play setter. Jones has soft hands and can place a ball just about anywhere she wants.</p> <p><strong style="font-size: 1rem;">L, [player_tooltip player_id="105485" first="Jaden" last="Ravnsborg"] 5’8”, Mill Valley (Ranked No. 5)</strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">– Ravsnborg is committed to playing at Kansas State University.
