All of the top five players at the top of the Class of 2021 rankings have already made verbal commitments to college programs.
Here are the top five student-athletes at the top of Kansas Prep Dig initial rankings.
S, Kendra Wait Kendra Wait 5'10" | S Gardner Edgerton | 2021 State KS e, 5’10”, Gardner Edgerton (Ranked No. 1) – Waite is considered to be the top volleyball player in Kansas. She received multiple Division I offers and chosen to play at Creighton. She has a successful club career and will look to lead Gardner Edgerton to the State Championship Tournament in 2020.
OH, Caroline Bien Caroline Bien 6'0" | OH St. Thomas Aquinas | 2021 State KS , 6’0”, St. Thomas Aquinas (Ranked No. 2)– Bien plays outside hitter for St. Thomas Aquinas, but could also play libero at the next level. She has verbally committed to Kansas University.
MH, Sarah Bingham Sarah Bingham 6'3" | MB Shawnee Mission East | 2021 State KS , 6’3”, Shawnee Mission East (Ranked No. 3) – Bingham is the tallest player in the Top 5 for the Class of 2021. She was received multiple college offers to Division I schools and has committed to play at the University of Illinois.
S, Laurel Jones Laurel Jones 6'1" | S Maize South | 2021 State KS , 6’1”, Maize South (Ranked No. 4) – Jones is a special player who can play any position on the court. However, she has verbally committed to Marquette University to play setter. Jones has soft hands and can place a ball just about anywhere she wants.
L, Jaden Ravnsborg Jaden Ravnsborg 5'8" | DS/L Mill Valley | 2021 State KS 5’8”, Mill Valley (Ranked No. 5) – Ravsnborg is committed to playing at Kansas State University. She is considered to be the top libero in the state. She received multiple college offers but chose to stay in Kansas and become a Wildcat.
