<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pin hitters carry a huge load on the volleyball court. They are set the most often and also serve receive, play defense, and block. They are expected to be consistent, smart, and efficient. A reliable pin hitter can be a great asset to any team. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">These uncommitted pins proved their worth at the Sunset Slam and will have big impacts on their high school and club teams in the seasons to come. </span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hannah Moe - Oconto - Class of 2022</span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hannah is a pin who can play all six rotations. She is dynamic, powerful, and consistent. Her plays are momentum changers in games. Hannah is great at finding holes in the opponent’s blocks and has great placement of the ball. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Wow, can Anna jump! She might not be the tallest on the team, but she can jump over most of them. Her jump puts her above many blockers. She is also a solid all-around athlete who has a wicked jump float and is scrappy on defense. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kennedy will become one of the biggest names in the state. She is an all-around athlete who can pass, block, and most of all hit. She has a rocket of a swing from the back row. Standing at 6’5” she can block even the toughest hitters and swings over the best blockers around. Kennedy is definitely an athlete to watch. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Grace is an explosive pin. She is aggressive at the net and in the back row. She is another athlete with a great vertical. Grace has great control of the ball and sees the court very well. Her ability to pound a ball seemingly wherever she wants is impressive. </span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lauren Paulsen - Luther Prep - Class of 2021</span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lauren has great control. She is a fierce defender, has awesome ball control on serve receive, and rarely makes unforced errors. As the matches progressed, Lauren became more and more instrumental to the success of her team. She is a very smart player who is a solid foundation for this highly energized and powerful Luther Prep team.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="90597" first="Aida" last="Shadewald"] - Sauk Prairie - Class of 2022</span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Aida is a powerful outside hitter. She takes a very fast approach and is an aggressive hitter. She hits very well around and through blocks. Particularly down the line and a hard cross to the sideline. Aida was definitely a standout player at the Sunset Slam. </span></p>

<p>Aoife is a very valuable lefty who primarily hits on the right side. She has a great roll shot to the deep line but can also speed up her swing and rip a ball anywhere on the court. She is a dynamic player who can pass if needed and has a powerful serve. In the past few years, Aoife has made herself indispensable as a player. </p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">[player_tooltip player_id="91877" first="Karissa" last="Fortune"] - Appleton North - Class of 2023</span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Karissa is a truly amazing athlete who can hit well across the net and is an asset on defense as well. She can make a play out of nearly any set and balances the need for placing the ball well and putting power behind it. Karissa is one of the top pins in her class and will continue to be if she impresses as she did at the Sunset Slam. </span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ella Demetrian - Appleton North - Class of 2024</span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ella is set to make a huge impact on high school and club volleyball. She is powerful, smart, and dynamic. She is an all-around athlete. Ella has always played up a year in club and it has helped her be incredibly competitive even next to athletes years older than she is. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Abby is the type of athlete you want on your team, in nearly any role. She is easily one of the best serve-receivers in her class and is a powerful pin as well. Her best asset though? She is incredibly smart. She knows the game of volleyball inside</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">and out and reads hitters very well. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Grace has a great connection with the athletes on her team. She makes big plays on offense and defense. Her powerful hits make her an energizer on the court. She is a valuable 6-rotation outside hitter who is a playmaker and leader on the court. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">These pins will absolutely pound some balls whether they are having a fall or spring season. They are smart, dynamic, and athletic. Any of these athletes would make great additions to club and college rosters. </span></p>
