2021 Additions to State Rankings List Vol 7

<p>We bring our attention back to the 2021 class as we have a few players that we have not written about yet. We are going to profile three new players you may not have heard of.  We had some serious movement with some players sliding up the charts from our initial publication of the State Rankings in April.  Here are just a few of the Stock Risers in the 2021 class that stood out and moved up for their senior year. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="87458" first="Hailey" last="Hutchings"] [2021] 5-10 Middle (HS: Flower Mound/Club: Instinct VB/ Verbal: Grand Canyon {Beach})</strong></p> <p>Hailey is ranked as the 77^thbest player in the 2021 class according to our State Rankings. She plays for Instinct Volleyball for club and for Flower Mound HS.  Hailey is a great leaper who gets off of the ground quickly and with ease.  She is extremely versatile and is able to play on the pins and out of the middle.  She is even more special as she is a very experienced sand volleyball player.  Not many can transition so easily to the sand game but Hailey makes it look easy.  It is a totally different game than indoor and Hailey has excelled so much that she is committed to playing her college ball for Grand Canyon’s beach program.  She uses her awesome vertical to dominate on the sand.  The fact that she is able to play multiple indoor positions is what helps her overall ball control out on the sand.  She has every tool necessary to do very well in college. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="87459" first="Clarke" last="Adams"] [2021] 5-8 Outside (HS: Bellaire/Club: Houston Juniors/Verbal: Oakland)</strong></p> <p>Clarke has been ranked as the 78^thtop prospect in the State of Texas according to our State Rankings.  She is a super high-flying pin hitter from the Houston Area.  She plays for a school that has won its district almost every year for the last couple of decades and also for one of the premier club in the state in Houston Juniors.  This young lady may look small when you first see her, but she has no problem getting off of the ground and playing well above the net.  Clarke has excellent ball control out of serve receive and is always in system with her pass.  Defensively she plays primarily out of the middle back position and is extremely quick on the court running down errant balls.  There is not a skill that she doesn’t possess on the court and she will do a fantastic job for Oakland next year. </p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="87462" first="Perris" last="Key"] [2021] 5-8 Outside (HS: Katy/Club: Houston Juniors/Verbal: UT-Rio Grand Valley)</strong></p> <p>Perris has earned the honor of being ranked as the 85^thbest volleyball player in the state of Texas according to our Prep Dig rankings.  Miss Key also plays for Houston Juniors and is a star for her high school program Katy HS.  This young lady can FLY.  It doesn’t matter where you put her on the court, she is able to paly well above the net and has a cannon for an arm swing.  She starts out very deep at her outside touch point which helps her to utilize her momentum and hit over her opponents.  What makes her deadly is her ability to hit on both pins with so much raw power.  You wouldn’t believe how much power she actually possesses just by looking at her, but once you see how fast her arm swing is, you understand why.  She is committed to the University of Texas at Rio Grand Valley and she will be explosive for them. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes.  If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at nov8vb@yahoo.com.  Also don’t forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends.  Help us help them by simply retweeting on Twitter or sharing on Facebook.  Thanks for following Texas Family!</p>
