<p>The Smoky Valley Vikings (19-1) are currently the top team in the Central Kansas League with a 7-0 league record, but multiple players are excelling in the CKL.</p>
<p>Here is a scouting report on some of the league leaders as teams head down the home-stretch of regular season play.</p>
<p><strong>OH, [player_tooltip player_id="105617" first="Bri" last="Franklin"], 5’11”, Smoky Valley (’21 Ranked No. 134)</strong>– The senior has verbally committed to play at Kansas Wesleyan University and is have a standout senior season. Franklin has 100 kills and 39 blocks for the Vikings.</p>
<p><strong>MH, [player_tooltip player_id="105655" first="Abby" last="Rose"], 6’0”, Smoky Valley (’22 Ranked No. 24)</strong> – Rose plays all over the court and is extremely athletic. She looks to be a solid DII recruit. She leads Smoky Valley with 133 kills and 43 blocks.</p>
<p><strong>OH, [player_tooltip player_id="105662" first="Sammie" last="Saunders"], 5’8”, Hillsboro (’22 Ranked No. 31) –</strong> Saunders is having an all-around productive season for the Trojans. She has 83 digs, 17 service aces, and 15 blocks. She is a good jumper and should get looks from DII and NAIA schools.</p>
<p><strong>OH, Lauren Kolm, 5’9”, Pratt</strong>– The Greenback senior is posting big numbers. She leads the team with 152 kills and has 30 blocks which is among the CKL leaders. Kolm could be a solid late addition to a college volleyball program at the NAIA or JUCO level.</p>
<p><strong>S, Harley Ferralez, 5’5”, Hesston –</strong> Ferralez, a junior setter, is near the top of the CKL in assists with 191. She is a great floor leader for a young Swather squad. She projects as a possible recruit in for JUCO programs and should be added to the Class of 2022 rankings when next updated.</p>
<p><strong>S, Kami Theis, 5’3”, Pratt</strong> – Theis is only 5’3”, but she has great hands and distributes the ball well. She leads Pratt with 184 assists and also has 97 digs to go with 67 kills.</p>
<p><strong>MH, Jessica Saunders, 5’11”, Hillsboro </strong>– Saunders is the spark plug that ignites the Hillsboro Engine. She can play both back and front rows. She has amassed 90 kills and 37 blocks through 33 sets played.</p>
<p><strong>OH, Sophia Becker, 5’10”, Hesston –</strong> Becker is a member of the Class of 2023 to keep a close eye on. She has totaled 97 kills and 22 service aces for Hesston.</p>
