Ozark Tournament Players to Watch!

<p>Looking at this tournament field, I wanted to preview some of my favorite players from each team. These players not only lead their teams but also rank high on Maxpreps statistically.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Borgia Knights 18-2-2</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="41802" first="Ella" last="Brinkman"]n-junior</p> <p>5’8 outside hitter currently leads Class 5 with 283 kills on the season and 6^th in hitting percentage at .352%.  #14 in all Missouri Classes in kills with 283. This kid is a smooth operator. She never seems to get raddled and has a great arm.</p> <p>Caroline Glastetter-junior</p> <p>5’10 outside hitter has 192 kills and sets at 16 in Class 5 with a .253% hitting percentage. Keeps getting better every time I’ve watched her play.  Put down a  couple of monster slams against Lafayette.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="41798" first="Annie" last="Arand"]-junior</p> <p>#11 on the Class 5 list for assists with 507 on the season and #32 in all Missouri Classes. Runs a quick offense for the Knights.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Ozark Tigers 12-7-2</strong></p> <p>Hannah Tadlock-senior</p> <p>6’1 middle currently at 27^th with 168 kills on the season and 19^th with a hitting percentage of .301. Hannah also has the 4^th spot in blocks with 70 on the season.</p> <p>Hanna Vorhies-junior</p> <p>6’0 outside comes in at 29^th with 161 kills on the season and 38^th with a hitting percentage of .253.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Nixa Eagles 18-2</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="102444" first="Sydney" last="Golden"]-junior</p> <p>Currently in third place in assists in Class 5 with 595, but you’ll not see a better setter at this tourney.  #13 in assists in all Missouri Classes with 595.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="102546" first="Jaycee" last="Fixsen"]-junior</p> <p>236 has Fixsen at number 6 in Class 5 in kills.  The 5’11 middle will impress with her movement and quick arm swing. #34 in all Missouri Classes in kills with 236.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="41762" first="Taylor" last="Golmen"]-senior</p> <p>6’0 middle is currently #5 in Class 5 in hitting percentage with a .398% clip. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Carl Junction Bulldogs 19-3</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="41753" first="Salma" last="Lewis"]-senior</p> <p>275 kills on the season at #6 in Class 4 and 15^th in hitting percentage at .301%.  #15 in all of Missouri Classes in kills with those 275. Fun one to watch!</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="101701" first="Logan" last="Jones"]-sophomore</p> <p>Class 4 #2 with 636 on the year.  Another setter in the tournament that is sure to impress. #9 in all Missouri Class in assists with 636.</p> <p>Jessa Hylton-junior</p> <p>The combo to [player_tooltip player_id="41753" first="Salma" last="Lewis"] is currently at 219 kills on the year. Nice piece of the puzzle for the Bulldogs.  #49 in all Missouri Classes in kills with those 219. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Kickapoo Chiefs 15-4</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="41752" first="Kate" last="Owen"]-senior</p> <p>Class 5 libero sitting at #11 in digs with 262.</p> <p>Lauren Faria-senior</p> <p>Setter in Class 5 at #6 with 544 on the year and #18 in all Missouri Classes in assist.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Jefferson City Jays 6-9-1</strong></p> <p>Rhakala Blackmon-senior</p> <p>5’11 middle Class 5 #19 in blocks with 40.</p>
