We’ve just released our updated player rankings for the state of Indiana, and there are a ton of high-level pin players still available to sign for the fall of 2021. Here are our top five:

#18: [player_tooltip player_id="85683" first="Jada" last="Allen"], 6-1, OH, Fishers

Jada’s decommit from Xavier makes this high-flying banger immediately available. She jumps past ten feet on her attack and hits a heavy ball. Add to it her size and high-level training (Munciana), and this is a can’t-miss pin attacker in this class.

#19: [player_tooltip player_id="102468" first="Lourdes" last="Torres"], 5-9, OH, Munster

On the other end of the spectrum size-wise on this list is [player_tooltip player_id="102468" first="Lourdes" last="Torres"], who we recently had a spotlight on with our 4A team rankings article yesterday. Munster is ranked #3 in 4A currently, and Miss Torres’ ability to be a six-rotation OH would be an excellent plug-and-play for any program needing as such.

#26: [player_tooltip player_id="85694" first="Mikayla" last="Christiansen"], 6-0, RS, Fishers

Our second Fishers Tiger mentioned, Mikayla has seen some mid-major attention recently, but none have pulled the trigger. Mikayla is a multi-positional player (she’s seen time in the middle as well) who can put balls away as well as she can block. A six-footer still available in October? It’s only a matter of time before this Munciana-trained kid receives an offer.

#29: [player_tooltip player_id="85692" first="Ashleigh" last="White"], 5-11, OH, Lawrence North

A recently moved middle to the left pin, Miss White is also closing in on ten feet, if she isn’t already there. Her transition has been quick; played M1 in her junior year in high school, then played as a three-rotation OH in club, and now plays six rotations in most matches in her senior year in high school. That kind of versatility, plus her willingness to learn, fail, and get better in such a short amount of time means you’re getting a character kid as well.

#39: [player_tooltip player_id="85684" first="Sarah" last="Casper"], 5-11, OH, Cathedral

The Fighting Irish have had a rare down year this fall, most likely finishing under .500 for the first time in I can’t remember how long. Sarah is the obvious choice for Cathedral’s best attacking option, and her ability to play six rotations makes her very versatile for the next level.
