Nebraska Players I can’t wait to see at Nebraska Top 250!

<p>There are so many recognizable, and some not very recognizable yet, players from Nebraska coming to Prep Dig Nebraska Top 250 next weekend.  I have seen a bunch of these players compete all over Omaha in the last seven years, and especially at the Prep Dig Summer Bash this past summer, and I want to share some information about the players I look forward to seeing next week.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="37562" first="Olivia" last="Poppert"] (2022, S)</strong></span></p> <p>Olivia is a 6’ setter for St. Paul, whose season ended in a defeat in the Class C1 state championship match.  Needless to say, Olivia is very good.  I want to see her perform with other great players from the state of Nebraska and some of the best from Iowa next weekend.  I saw St. Paul play at the Prep Dig Summer Bash this summer and it would be great to watch her athletic, really smart plays again.</p> [caption id="attachment_30410" align="alignleft" width="150"]<img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-30410" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pd/uploads/2018/12/Camaron-Pfeifer-20221-e1543875653238-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /> [player_tooltip player_id="109349" first="Camaron" last="Pfeifer"], 2022, S.[/caption] <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="109349" first="Camaron" last="Pfeifer"] (2022, S)</strong></span></p> <p>Cameron is a 5’8" setter from Grand Island.  This season she had 8.0 APS, 22 kills, 15 total blocks, 2.1 DPS, and 29 aces with a 94.0% serve efficiency.  I have not seen her play in person so I am excited by the opportunity to check her out next weekend. </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="83539" first="Channatee" last="Robles"] (2023, OH)</strong></span></p> <p>Channatee is a 5’10" OH for Norfolk Catholic High School.  She had 4.0 KPS, 65 total blocks, 38 aces with an 89.6% serve efficiency, and 4.3 DPS.  That is pretty well-rounded for an athlete who just finished her sophomore season.  I am super excited to see this athlete next weekend.   </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="83536" first="Emmalee" last="Sheppard"] (2023, DS/L)</strong></span></p> <p>Emmalee is a DS/L for Fremont High School.  This past high school season she had 9 aces with 95.3% serve efficiency and 4.4 DPS, and 6.3 RPS.  She is a very good defensive player and I look forward to seeing her perform next weekend.  She is so young to be so good and I cannot wait to see that in action.  </p> [caption id="attachment_101479" align="alignleft" width="150"]<img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-101479" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pd/uploads/2020/07/Mariah-Sliva-rotated-e1595232877679-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" /> [player_tooltip player_id="103453" first="Mariah" last="Sliva"], class of 2022, OH/MH.[/caption] <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="103453" first="Mariah" last="Sliva"] (2022, OH/MH)</strong></span></p> <p>Mariah is an OH/MH for Shickley Public School.  I saw Mariah play this summer at the Prep Dig Summer Bash.  She is really good.  Long and lean, an athletic, quick, and really smart volleyball player, Mariah is a joy to watch play.  She has great serves, awesome kills, wonderful blocks, and can do damage anywhere on the court.  She will also dive and get some great digs as well.  I love to watch her play so I look forward to seeing her this weekend.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
