As a middle and setter she is involved often around the court. She is among team leaders in total kills while attacking at the highest efficiency at .599. As a middle she also leads in total blocks while dishing more assists than her setting counterpart in their offense. In 2019 she was a Division II first-team All-Ohio selection.</li> </ul> <p>- Bishop Fenwick Falcons</p> <ul> <li><strong>Ellie Foley</strong> - 5’6 | L/DS | 2023: Foley leads the Falcons defensively at over 15 digs per match. She is also a big contributor from the service line leading the team in total aces on the season. She pursues the ball well with good understanding of angle production while also showing confidence in a significant role as a sophomore.</li> <li><strong>Caroline Hensley</strong> - 5’9 | S | 2022: The floor general for the Falcons, Hensley has good competitive experience that has been valuable for this squad throughout the season helping guide them to a 11-1 conference record. She also displays good versatility to be able to score points as an offensive threat herself. </li> </ul> <p><em><strong>Gilmour Academy (#1) vs. Bishop Hartley (#10)</strong></em></p> <p>- Gilmour Academy Lancers</p> <ul> <li><strong>Brinn MacLellan</strong> - 5’11 | MB/OH | 2021: An athletic veteran for this team, MacLellan is a difficult athlete to slow down for opponents. The senior has earned a handful of postseason accolades during her career as she is among team leaders in total kills and blocks, within an offense that is very balanced across the net. She helped guide the Lancers to the state semis in 2019.</li> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="114550" first="Anna" last="Rarick"]</strong> - 6’0 | OH/S | 2023: Rarick, just a sophomore, is a dual threat for the Lancers as she has efficiently produced over 120 kills while helping to distribute the offense as she has also amassed approximately 300 assists. Size and versatility have helped Rarick become a big factor and establish a very bright future.</li> </ul> <p>- Bishop Hartley Hawks</p> <ul> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="114513" first="Ella" last="Brandewie"]</strong> - 6’3 | MB | 2023: Brandewie is among the best in the class of 2023 and brings a lot of game to the net as a middle. She has length and skill as a blocker to close down attackers and fill space well. As an attacker, she has good mobility and footwork to terminate from a variety of locations in front and behind the setter. She leads the team in total blocks and kills while attacking at a .395 percentage.</li> <li><strong>Colleen Sweeney</strong> - 5’10 | S | 2021: Averaging over eight assists per set, Sweeney has good size for this role. She shows good hand position and can distribute the full range of the court with her favorite target being her sophomore middle teammate Brandewie. She is the veteran for this young squad, provides good leadership and competitive energy, and is among team leaders in most categories. </li> </ul>
