Here are four 5th Region freshmen to watch.
Julia Brown: A Bardstown freshman outside hitter/defensive specialist, Brown is a versatile young high school volleyball player. Brown posted 56 kills, 153 digs and 12 service aces during the 2020 high school volleyball season. Agile, Brown moves well from side to side and has shown the ability to make challenging digs.
Ava Hughes: A Campbellsville freshman middle hitter, Hughes is emerging as a consistent high school volleyball player. Hughes registered 31 kills, 10 blocks and 11 digs in 14 matches during the 2020 high school volleyball season. Athletic, Hughes reads opposing hitters successfully consistently.
Isabella Moore: A John Hardin freshman defensive specialist/outside hitter, Moore delivered both defensively and offensively during the 2020 high school volleyball season. Moore tallied 117 digs as a freshman. Carrying momentum over into 2021, Moore brings high energy to the court.
Lauren Sheroan: A Bethlehem freshman outside hitter, Sheroan contributed for her team throughout the 2020 high school volleyball season. Sheroan recorded 37 kills, 22 digs and 15 service aces in 20 matches. Productive, Sheroan elevates well and has shown the ability to be a strong hitter from the left side.
