Power League 17U: Pool 8 Preview

In upcoming Club-Action the Power League 17’s play qualifying matches on January 24 at Wichita Hoops.

Here is a look at four players in Pool Eight to keep an eye on. A four-team pool that includes Air Cap Aces 17-1, Dynasty 17-3, Club North 17-2, THR 33 17-2.

OH, Jenna Walters Jenna Walters 5'7" | OH West Franklin | 2022 State KS , 5’7”, Dynasty 17-3 (West Franklin) – If Walters played at a larger school she would be heavily recruited. The West Franklin junior is an under the radar Stat Monster who is deserving of college offers. Walters finished her junior season with 240 kills and 260 digs.

OH, Abby Godfrey Abby Godfrey 5'10" | MB Maize | 2022 State KS , 5’9”, Air Cap Aces 17-1  (Maize) – Godfrey is very athletic and will be leaned on to be a leader for Maize next year. She has a nice vertical and plays for a winning high school and club team. Godfrey knows what it takes to win and will be a leader on-and-off the court for the college club that signs her.

OH, Kenzie Dugan, 5’11”, Air Cap Aces 17-1 (Bishop Carroll) – Dugan helped lead Bishop Carroll to the Kansas State Tournament. She has a big reach and crushes the ball. She has a high-ceiling and can definitely play at the college level.

DS, Ella Mullins, 5’2”,  Air Cap Aces 17-1 (Circle) – Mullins is a defensive specialist and libero that instate colleges should watch. She finished her junior season for the Circle Thunderbirds with 253 digs and 338 serve receptions. She is a solid team-player and works hard in the classroom.
