New Names to Know On the 2021 New Jersey Rankings

<p>Yes, we miss athletes who should be ranked in our Prep Dig New Jersey rankings.  We are playing a bit of catch up this year for New Jersey with the Club season currently underway and the start of High School right around the corner. We are so excited to cover the 2021 club and high school season simultaneously this year and we have some new names in the Class of 2021 that should be on the radar, and yes a few of them we missed the first couple times around. Take a look at some new names in the Class of 2021 Rankings. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="128485" first="Kelsey" last="Urmanowicz"] - Park Ridge</strong></p> <p><em><strong>Libero</strong></em></p> <p>Urmanowicz is part of a deep Park Ridge squad. Her athleticism allows her to be a dominant force in the back row and helps set up everyone else to play their own game. The team knows she goings to make the dig and make a good pass to the setter for a scoring opportunity. She is the catalyst to Park Ridge. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="128483" first="Ashley" last="Carkhuff"] - Hackettstown</strong></p> <p><em><strong>Outside Hitter</strong></em></p> <p>Carkhuff was an absolute superstar last season leading her team in kills. She has all the shots in the book with going cross-court, down-the-line, cut shots, tips and more. The variety in her offensive game is what make her a lethal OH and will see the ball heading her way a ton this season.  She's dangerous anywhere on the court.   </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="128489" first="Cat" last="Holtz"] - Mendham</strong></p> <p><em><strong>Outside Hitter</strong></em></p> <p>Holtz returns on a very deep Mendham squad and garnered 225 kills, 15 blocks, and 75 digs as a junior. Her versatility is on display as well by being able to play in the Middle as well. Expect her to be the partner-in-crime with [player_tooltip player_id="99813" first="Lauren" last="Wilcock"]. With the occasional swap to middle depending on how much of her blocking is needed, her powerful swing paired with her height will enable a monster campaign. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="128490" first="Katie" last="Bennorth"] - Lakeland</strong></p> <p><em><strong>Outside Hitter</strong></em></p> <p>Bennorth is an electric player who has the ability and intangibles that makes her side of the net better no matter what the situation is.  She isn't afraid to be aggressive and swing from anywhere on the court. She is willing passer as well not afraid to do the hard work defensively. She is an all-around talent leading Lakeland in kills and digs.
