Return-to-Play Update

<p>As we have now embarked into February, I wanted to give the latest update regarding high school sports for girls volleyball and boys volleyball. Let's dive in. </p> <p><strong>Girls Volleyball Update</strong></p> <p>Girls Volleyball continues to be nearing their start date as they have now officially started being able to be in contact with another virtually which took place on Feb. 1. As a reminder, the girls' volleyball season is now a part of the newly created Season 3 which is most likely to only take place for this academic calendar. </p> <p>Everything seems to be remaining on schedule with the next month being contact only virtual with a practice start date for March 1st. and the season to begin for the middle of March. The NJSIAA continue to proclaim a hard-deadline of April 24th. </p> <p>With club season underway, there is a good idea of how everything will be unfolding with tight restrictions and likely limited-fans to only family members.</p> <p><strong>Boys Volleyball Update</strong></p> <p>Now to the Boys, in the first update. The schedule for the Boys for their spring campaign had yet to be released. So, let's take a look at the critical components and dates for the Season 4 guidelines. </p> <p>The goal of their season is to be following a similar platform with first beginning to involve virtual contact. This hypothetical date is to be March 1st. The practice date will then be a month after which is temporarily set for April 1st with a middle of April start date for competition. </p> <p>The season will be potentially stretching into the middle of June with the final day of all spring sports to have a set deadline of June 20th. </p> <p>As we all know that all of the information is subject to change and most of the information is all hypothetical contingent upon COVID-19 and the health and safety of these young athletes. </p> <p>With Girls Volleyball beginning virtual contact does showcase hope that a season can be completed. A postseason update for the springs sports is supposed to be released in the next two weeks so be on the lookout. </p>
