The Future is Here – 2024 Class Vol 8 – North Texas

<p>We would love to officially welcome the 2024 class to the Prep Dig State Rankings.  We are going to restart this series that we began this past spring with the freshman class of 2024.  We have covered some in the Dallas –Fort Worth Metroplex area before but we are back here again as they have tons of talented players on our list.  We are extremely excited to cover this class now that they have had their high school season complete.  We have been very active in communicating with College Recruiting Directors all over the state so that we can bring the best to the eyes of the college coaches we have in our database that read our articles.  So without further ado, here are a few more of the standouts from the 2024 class from the North Texas area.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124130" first="Camille" last="Edwards"] [2024] 5-11 Setter (HS: Prestonwood Christian/Club: Texas Advantage/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Camille as we currently have her ranked as the 20^thbest prospect overall in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is a tall setter who can play all the way around.  As a freshman at Prestonwood Christian, she has been named 6A District 2 Setter of the Year.  When you watch her while she is in her element, she looks so calm in the setting position.  What stands out the most is how the ball comes off of her hands so quickly during her shoot set to the 31 position.  My mouth drops when I watch her set it so fluidly while jump setting.  A freshman is not supposed to be able to make it look so beautiful like Miss Edwards is able to.  She has all of the tools to move up our rankings as we watch her progress. She is crafty and scores well from setter dumps and plays defense like a seasoned veteran.  Please help us welcome her to the State Rankings as we are excited to cover her this club season and for the future. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124107" first="Marina" last="Lopez"] [2024] 5-7 Outside (HS: Southwest Christian/Club: Texas Image/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Marina as we currently have her ranked as the 23^rdbest overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  She is a solid six rotation outside hitter from Texas Image volleyball club.  As a freshman on varsity at Southwest Christian, she was able to hit a .139 hitting percentage and have 47 kills.  She also had 32 digs, 8 aces, and 8 blocks.  She helped her vasity team reach the TAPPS playoffs.  Her Texas Image team is performing very well amongst some great open level competition so far early in this club season.  We are excited to have her in the Prep Dig Family and are excited to watch her progress on the court.  Please welcome her to the Prep Dig family and congratulate her on being ranked with the top players in the great state of Texas. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124133" first="Ava" last="Houser"] [2024] 5-6 Setter (HS: Guyer/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Ava as we currently have her ranked as the 27^thbest prospect overall in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  She plays varsity as a freshman on the mighty Guyer program in the Denton area.  She also plays on the beach volleyball circuit in the Dallas area for 692 beach. It is very difficult for a player to transition from beach to the indoor game, but Ava does it so well.  She has partnered up with quite a few great players who are also on our rankings and has placed in quite a few tournaments. She is a silky smooth setter who plays for a great club program in Dallas Skyline.  She is known as a super aggressive server and the next great setter at her powerhouse school team.  We are excited to cover her for the future and can’t wait to see her progress.  Please welcome her to the Prep Dig family and congratulate her on being ranked amongst the best in the state. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>If you know of any other players or clubs that we need to cover, please email me at nov8vb@yahoo.com.
