We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the high school volleyball season and have been also hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Noelle Dominey [2022] 5-6 Libero/Defensive Specialist (HS: Dripping Springs/Club: Austin Juniors/ Verbal: University of Incarnate Word)
Miss Dominey is currently unranked in our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is a talented player from the Central Texas area. She plays for Dripping Springs HS and also club for the famed Austin Juniors club program. She helped her varsity squad be extremely competitive and have a record of 23-6 overall and 12-4 in district. She had a great season on varsity this past year contributing 31 digs, 20 service receptions, and 11 aces as a defensive specialist. She plays libero for Austin Juniors and is extremely active on the court. She is no stranger to getting on the floor as she sacrifices her body play after play showcasing her enormous defensive range. We love the intensity that she plays the game with. She has a fire that will translate to great team chemistry at the next level. We are proud to announce that she just recently committed to play volleyball at the University of Incarnate Word. We at Prep Dig couldn’t be more proud of her accomplishments. Please help us congratulate her.
Jordan Norwood [2021] 5-11 Right Side (HS: Friendswood/Club: Houston Stellar/Verbal: Flagler College)
Miss Norwood is currently unranked in our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Friendswood HS in Southeast Houston and also club for Houston Stellar. She has been a solid contributor to the program’s success for the Mustangs. This past season she was one of the many reasons they were able to go 23-5 overall and 15-1 in district. She has been a two year varsity player and very productive. She has been able to accumulate 127 kills, a hitting percentage of .126, 37 blocks and 60 digs. This strong lefty has a lot of natural power that she gets from a picturesque approach from the right side. She cocks back big and unleashes some serious thump on the ball. I also love how hard she presses on the block. There is no question that she can seal the net from the attacker. She also plays with a ton of fire and we love to watch her celebrate with her teammates. We are proud to announce that she just recently signed to play volleyball at Flagler College. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dreams of playing volleyball at the next level.
Paige Palmer [2022] 5-7 Outside/Defensive Specialist (HS: College Park/Club: TAV Houston/Verbal: Houston Baptist University {Beach})
Miss Palmer is currently an unranked prospect according to our Prep Dig State Ranking. She is a fantastic dual sport athlete from the North Houston area. She plays high school for College Park and club for TAV Houston. She is an extremely accomplished beach player who has been to USA Nationals on the sand. Paige is a multi-tooled athlete who can pass, hit, and set very well. On the hard court, she is a talented outside hitter for her TAV squad. She is super explosive and has as whip of an arm. She is a banger on the pin and also athletic enough to hit the second tempo in the middle. In two years on varsity at College Park she has accumulated 198 kills, hit .209, had 24 blocks, 265 digs, and also 43 aces. We are excited that she made her college choice recently. She will continue that love for the sand game as she has committed to play Beach Volleyball for Houston Baptist University in two years and will impact their program immediately. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing volleyball at the next level.
