<p>Nineteen setters from Class 3A had at least 200 or more assists during their junior seasons.</p>
<p>Here is a report on five of those Class of 2022 assist leaders entering their senior high school seasons.</p>
<p><strong>S, [player_tooltip player_id="123108" first="Kassidy" last="Yost"], 5’9”</strong>, <strong>TMP-Hays</strong>– Yost is finished her 2020 season with 629 assists for the Monarchs. She is a well-rounded player who also added 183 digs and 161 kills during her junior season. Yost communicated well on the court and is also an accomplished basketball player.</p>
<p><strong>S, Kayla Noller, 5’5”, Russell </strong>– Russell struggled to win matches in 2020, but Noller was a definite bright spot for the Broncos. She amassed 356 assists while dishing the ball to her teammates. Noller averaged just more than five assists per set and added 158 digs.</p>
<p><strong>S, [player_tooltip player_id="123115" first="Harley" last="Ferralez"], 5’5”, Hesston </strong>– Ferralez can play setter and libero. Hesston plays in a tough league and Ferralez will be a key cog for the Swathers in 2021. The Swather senior filled up the stat sheet in 2020 finishing with 312 assists, 245 digs, 210 serve receptions, and 168 kills. She plays with high energy and is a team leader.</p>
<p><strong>S, Cameron Stover, 5’6”, Neodesha</strong> – Stover can play multiple positions. She hits and sets for the Blue Streaks. Stover collected 273 assists, 267 digs, and 105 kills. Stover is a six-rotation athlete and will be leaned on in 2021.</p>
<p><strong>S, London Hilton, 5’7”, Eureka –</strong> Hilton is an interesting prospect. During her junior season, she finished with 204 assists. She should be the Tornadoes top setter in 2021. Junior College coaches should give her a look.</p>
