Shoemake jumped into the rankings with this most recent update given her size and ability to score and defend at the net. Her length is her most noticeable physical attribute as she can generate a high contact point when hitting while also filling up a lot of space when blocking. She led her Beavercreek team at 4.4 kills per set during the her final high school season and she now prepares to take her game to Duquesne University this coming college season.

Solberg had a good career for Huron and she was a big presence and catalyst from the middle with her size and length. She has an active arm and can hit with good range through middle attack options. She averaged over two kills per set while also posting over three blocks per match, making big contributions on both sides of the ball. She takes her talents to Ohio Wesleyan this next fall.

Hilderbran creates good contact above the net and showed good effectiveness from the right side for her Elevation team this past club season. She has good vision when hitting and can challenge the block or swing through gaps to score or put pressure on the defense. She has a good skills set in the front row and as it appears she is uncommitted she has good small college potential.

[player_tooltip player_id="139363" first="Jordan" last="Brooks"] - 6’0 | MH | Prep Dig #73
Uncommitted based upon a recent review of her club bio, Brooks has good athleticism and physicality as a middle. She looks most comfortable and aggressive off of one foot overhead of the setter as she has good footwork and explosiveness of her last step and gets her arm up well to generate good power. She led her Reynoldsburg team at 4.1 kills per set while also contributing nearly 10 digs per set.

[player_tooltip player_id="139370" first="Josie" last="Curran"] - 6’0 | OH | Prep Dig #80
Curran was a primary option for her Westerville Central team during the fall season as she has the ability to score with authority when attacking from either pin. She has good approach momentum and gets her arms up quickly to be able to get on top of the ball and generate a lot of pace. Her size also helps her to be effective defensively as she can get up and over the net in creating a good block.
