Over the next few weeks, we’ll take some time to honor their efforts and use this space to provide a brief recap of how the season played out in each of those districts and to highlight the players who earned all-league team nominations and MVP awards for their excellent performances.
1A Nisqually
The league featured eight teams and Annie Wright was certainly the one to stand out as the Gators won all their six matches and dropped only three sets along the way. Cascade Christian (2-1) and Charles Wright (6-4) also ended the season with positive campaigns while Bellevue Christian finished even with three wins and three losses.
MVP
Cora ter Kuile – Bellevue Christian – Outside Hitter – 2021
A 6’1” outside hitter, Cora ter Kuile produced another great season with Bellevue Christian in her farewell campaign to high school volleyball. She was involved in every area of the Vikings’ game as usual and stepped her game up even more on offense, being pivotal to her team’s scoring efforts. She’s now headed to the collegiate level as she will make the move to San Jose State.
