High school volleyball is over in Washington and even though we were gifted with less action than we’re used to due to the abbreviated season, several players around the state made the most of the opportunity to develop and showcase their games in each of the 46 leagues of the Evergreen state.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll take some time to honor their efforts and use this space to provide a brief recap of how the season played out in each of those districts and to highlight the players who earned all-league team nominations and MVP awards for their excellent performances.

Ridgefield was unstoppable, winning all of their 11 matches and losing just a single set during the entire season. Two other of the district’s nine teams registered positive records in Columbia River (6-1) and Woodland (6-2). Mark Morris ended the season with five wins and five losses.
