As many as 728 teams are expected to compete in the 15 divisions for these three age groups and the state of Texas will, of course, be well-represented in the tournament with more than 50 teams expected to make the trip to Nevada.
During the next few weeks, we’ll use this space to present the Lone Star state representatives in the tournament, recapping their performances during the club season and highlighting some of their top prospects.
Alamo 15 Elite
The team out of the traditional San Antonio club will compete in the 15 American division. The team led by head coach Raul Bernal had a strong club season, having won 41 of their 58 matches so far. Alamo 15 Elite won the Adidas Lone Star Classic back in April and finished in the top three in five other tournaments, including three in which they played against older opponents.

Players to Watch
Audrey Pantano – Opposite – 2024
Left-handed players on the right side are always exciting to watch and Audrey Pantano certainly doesn’t disappoint in that regard. The 5’11” Alamo 15 Elite prospect has all the tools to succeed as an opposite and she takes advantage of them to put up a strong game. Pantano is very long, has a heavy left arm and can hit the ball in any direction, from sharp angle to line. She also can play defense and help on serve-receiving and has grown used to hitting in the middle too. Pantano was selected to the 2019 USA Volleyball Futures Select National Training
Mia Silva – Outside Hitter – HS: Antonian Prep – 2024
Mia Silva’s great all-around game is certainly the most important asset she brings to Alamo 15 Elite. The 5’9” outside hitter is one of those players with no clear holes on her game and someone who rarely makes any mistakes. Silva knows her way around the net really well, including when it comes to blocking, and is a cornerstone for her team’s defensive system with superior passing and digging skills.

Audrey Rogers – Defensive Specialist – HS: Cornerstone Christian – 2024
Audrey Rogers goes above and beyond to offer more than just great defense to Alamo 15 Elite. The 5’7” masters the backcourt game with her superior positioning, quick movement and elite ball control, but is also an important piece to the team from the service line. Her serving game was particularly helpful in the team’s victory at the Adidas Lone Star Classic, when she registered a team-high 28 aces.
