As many as 728 teams are expected to compete in the 15 divisions for these three age groups and the state of Texas will, of course, be well-represented in the tournament with more than 60 teams expected to make the trip to Nevada.
During the next few weeks, we’ll use this space to present the Lone Star state representatives in the tournament, recapping their performances during the club season and highlighting some of their top prospects.
AP 15 Adidas
The group of young players representing the Austin Performance Volleyball Club is set to compete at the 15 American division. AP 15 Adidas has posted 37 wins and faced only 12 defeats in the current season. The squad led by head coach Edwin Batista has won the Mistletoe Madness back in December and followed it up with some other solid results, such as fifth-place finishes at both the Lone Star Regionals and the ASICS Show Me Qualifier.

Players to Watch
Natalie Erickson – Right Sider – HS: James Bowie – 2024
Natalie Erickson can do-it-all on the right side of the court for AP 15 Adidas. The 5’10” prospect is typically deployed as a setter but can also hit while at the net. Erickson combines great technique with an interesting size and uses all of her tools to impact the game. She’s also a very solid defender.
Carrington Jaimes – Middle Blocker – 2024
Carrington Jaimes has an unusual skill set for a middle blocker as she brings a lot to the table on the backcourt. At 5’9”, Jaimes is very active and efficient at the net but what really catches the eye when she’s on the court is what she does when she’s away from it. Jaimes is an excellent server and her passing/digging game is so strong that AP 15 Adidas’ libero typically doesn’t come in from her.
Avrey Keim – Outside Hitter – HS: Dripping Springs – 2024
Avrey Keim is another AP 15 Adidas prospect who’s extremely well-versed on defense. The 5’8” player is used as an outside hitter but her defensive duties with the team far outweigh her offensive production. Keim is very technical and fast, a combination that makes her excel on serve-receiving and defense and also makes her teammates better.
