As many as 728 teams are expected to compete in the 15 divisions for these three age groups and the state of Texas will, of course, be well-represented in the tournament with more than 50 teams expected to make the trip to Nevada.
During the next few weeks, we’ll use this space to present the Lone Star state representatives in the tournament, recapping their performances during the club season and highlighting some of their top prospects.

Players to Watch
Reagan Aponte – Setter – HS: Rudder High – 2024
Reagan Aponte is Brazos Valley 15 National’s starting setter and she does a great job in running the team’s offense. Her main asset as a setter is her reliability as she can always put the ball where it needs to be regardless of the situation. The 5’5” Aponte is able to naturally put her hitters in her offensive rhythm and is also a dangerous server and an elite defender. She ended her first high school season with Rudder High with 197 assists, 78 digs and 20 aces.
Carmella Jones – Right Sider – HS: Bryan High – 2024
Carmella Jones brings some much-needed power to Brazos Valley 15 National’s offense. She operates on the right side of the net and gets set pretty constantly as the team’s go-to scoring option. Jones has great reach and impressive power and she uses it to get the ball on the floor. She’s surprisingly efficient and thoughtful when dealing with off-the-net sets.
Halle Jimenez – Outside Hitter – HS: Rockdale High – 2024
Halle Jimenez has a strong all-around game and that shows on the court as she’s able to do all the little things well. The 5’8” Jimenez spent part of her first high school season as a middle blocker for Rockdale High, but when placed at the outside hitter spot she’s just on a better spot to impact the game with passing and digging skills. She’s also strong at the net with a steady offensive game and a very active blocking game.
