The 2021 Prep Dig Gauntlet will take place May 29-31st. Here are four players that are resourceful and find a way to get the job done. Their determination and impact on their squads make them worth a good look this weekend and potentially a future evaluation.

[player_tooltip player_id="122558" first="Ella" last="Skogman"] – 2024 – 6'2 – Middle Blocker – Waukesha West – [program_tooltip program_id='431537' first='Midwest' last='Penguins'] 15 Black
Skogman, an MWP product, is a dynamic athlete and takes an active role in her game. She has a physical presence on the court and her hard work has created an opportunity for her to contribute to Waukesha West as a freshman. Skogman has good timing and does a great job keeping good spacing. She has great instincts and shoots her hands across the net effectively to put pressure on opposing attackers, which results in some great blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id="82890" first="Kyra" last="Klumb"] – 2023 – 5'10 – Middle Blocker – Whitnall – Milwaukee Sting 16 Black
As a Milwaukee Sting 16 Black member, Klumb has great potential worthy of a good look, and I'm excited to see how it's developed since the high school season. She is a tremendous talent with her strength and physical style of play that she brings to the middle position. Klumb is swift, has height, and has a say on both sides of the ball. She has the adaptability to terminate using several routes, while also displaying effort to move quickly from pin to pin to close down opposing hitters.

[player_tooltip player_id="81297" first="Cassandra" last="Alsum"] – 2022 – 5'10 – Outside Hitter – Randolph – Milwaukee Sting 17 White
Alsum has a great selection of tools in her attacking tool belt, and they are really complemented by her ability to elevate.
She is adaptable at the net and can terminate effectively from both pins. Alsum's swing includes creating torque and the ability to nail a range of zones with powerful velocity. She is also a great competitor with experience and leadership ability.

[player_tooltip player_id="80789" first="Mariah" last="Best"] – 2021 – 5'10 – Setter – Waunakee – Capital 18 Adidas
Best is a cunning player, as she can both set and take a good swing at the ball. The Waunakee product elevates as a blocker and is quick on defense. As a setter, Best has good location, distributes the ball in a way that keeps blockers guessing, and knows when to sneak the ball over for a point. She does a great job keeping the opposing defense off balance and gives her hitters a lot of one-on-one opportunities.
