2023 Newest Additions to the State Rankings – Dallas Area Vol 3

<p>We began our rankings last March with only the top 50 players in the state ranked on our list. We have gotten some awesome leads from parents, players, coaches, and club directors for more players we should be watching.  After three months of analyzing game film, seeing athletes in person and looking at club tournament finishes and the past high school season, we were able to add 35 more players to the prestigious list.  We now have the top 127 players in the state ranked in the 2023 grad class. We are extremely excited to welcome these ladies to such a prestigious group.  We have written about some of these athletes before, however we are going to now re-introduce them but now with their much deserved overall State Ranking attached to their name.  Congratulate them on social media or in person the next time you see them. Welcome to the list ladies…</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141133" first="Callie" last="Kieffer"] [2023] 5-10 Setter (HS: Prosper/Club: TAV/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Callie to the 2023 Prep Dig State Rankings.  We have her listed as the 48^thbest prospect in the state.  Callie plays for Propsper High School and also for the nationally known Texas Advantage Volleyball out of the North Texas region.  She is a very skilled setter who has made varsity since she was a freshman. Last season she was asked to do so much more than her freshman season at Prosper and she rose to the occasion dishing out 419 assists and tallying 109 digs and 18 aces.  She and her TAV squad are one of the best teams in the nation right now in the USA Volleyball junior circuit.  They are qualified for Junior Nationals in the Open division and will battle it out to determine the medals this summer.  We want to welcome her with open arms to our State Ranking List and can't wait to watch her progress in the future.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141126" first="Samantha" last="Hoppes"] [2023] 6-0 Right Side (HS: Byron Nelson/Club: Drive Nation/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please help us welcome Samantha officially to the list as the 54^thbest prospect in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  Miss Hoppes plays at Byron Nelson HS and also club for the new high-level club on the North Texas block, Drive Nation. Samantha's stock has risen from just making varsity her freshaman season to being a legit weapon for this past sophomore season as she tallied 199 kills on a .234 hitting percentage.  She is not done at all and is just now making a name for herself.  The power-hitting lefty can be a game changer if an offense uses her correctly, especially creating one on one situations “against flow”.  We think she could be a dominant force for her junior season and we will be watching very closely.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on the Prep Dig State Rankings. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141127" first="Alexa" last="Grabow"] [2023] 6-0 Middle (HS: Episcopal School of Dallas/Club: Drive Nation/ Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Alexa to the 2023 Prep Dig State Rankings.  We have her listed as the 56^thbest prospect in the state.  She is a talented middle from the Episcopal School of Dallas and also from Drive Nation Volleyball club that has taken the North Texas Region by storm this year.  Alexa has great height and a strong frame with very long arms that will prove to be a defensive force for the future.  She already touches so high and has the power behind the strong frame to solidify a great seal at the net against her opponents.  We think she has tons of potential and once she learns a faster tempo she will be lights out.  We are extremely excited to have her in the Prep Dig Family.  Please help us congratulate her on achieving the prestigious state ranking. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We have tons of new players to introduce you to that got added to our 2023 rankings with the new update and tons who moved up and down the list.  We will be publishing more articles daily to give the recognition to each athlete that has earned the right to be called a top 127 Texas Volleyball Player.  Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes.  If you have anyone you think we should watch out for or that you think have what it takes to be added to our database, please shoot me an email with some info at nov8vb@yahoo.com</p>
