<p>What has been a shortened club volleyball season is coming to an end in Seattle but the best was arguably saved for the last with the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship set to take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from June 26-July 5.</p>
<p>The event is expected to attract more than 700 teams in the 15 divisions for clubs from 15s to 17s and the state of Washington will be among the participants with at least 17 teams entered to appear in the event.</p>
<p>Between now the stating serve on June 26, we’ll take a look in each of those teams, recapping their club season and pointing out the players you would want to follow in the tournament.</p>
<p><strong>PSVBA 17 Kim</strong></p>
<p>17 Kim is one of three teams from the Puget Sound Volleyball Academy to represent the state of Washington in Las Vegas. The team will play in the 17 Patriot division after registering an 18-25 win record during the club season. Coaches Kimberly Binder and Kyla Nakamura led the group of players to a fourth-place finish at the PSR Regional Championship, to a fifth at the Pacific Northwest Qualifier and a seventh at the PSR Power League.</p>
<p><strong>Players to Watch</strong></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97146" first="Aris" last="Vetter"] – Outside Hitter – HS: Olympia – 2022</strong></p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="97146" first="Aris" last="Vetter"] is one of the most talented players in the entire state in her age group. A 5’11” outside hitter, she plays for one of the top high school teams in Washington in Olympia, where she registered 104 kills and 55 digs in the 2019 season. She is a great all-around player and an outstanding beach volleyball player, who always stands out in tournaments at both the regional and national levels. Vetter has committed to play on the sand at the collegiate level for Boise State.</p>

<p><strong>Roslyn Zentz – Setter – HS: Rogers - 2022</strong></p>
<p>A 5’7” setter, Roslyn Zentz is in charge of running PSVBA 17 Kim’s offense and she does a great job with that. Zentz is great with her jump setting and has great location on her sets. She’s also a track and field athlete and that adds some explosiveness to her game at the net.</p>

<p><strong>Erin Riekena – Defensive Specialist – HS: Steilacoom - 2022</strong></p>
<p>Erin Riekena’s defensive skills make her have a good impact on PSVBA 17 Kim’s game every time she steps on the court. The 5’6” defender is extremely technical and makes her team better with her ability to keep the ball up in the air. She plays for a very good high school team in Steilacoom and had registered 430 digs in three seasons.</p>
