<p>NKYVC standouts [player_tooltip player_id="68127" first="Taylor" last="Preston"] (17-1), [player_tooltip player_id="107399" first="Julia" last="Hunt"] (15-1) and Riley McCloskey (14-1) have been invited to the USA Volleyball National Training Center in Anaheim, Calif. for the USA National Team Development Program.</p>
<p>Players are selected by college coach recommendations and an evaluation team from USA Volleyball.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68127" first="Taylor" last="Preston"] (2022)</strong> is a 6-1 middle hitter/outside hitter for NKYVC 17-1 Tsunami. A St. Henry student-athlete who is committed to the University of Oklahoma, Preston thrives at the net. Preston is a longtime leader for her club and high school teams who moves well from side to side, possesses solid jumping ability and produces as a go-to hitter in both the front row and the back row.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="107399" first="Julia" last="Hunt"] (2024)</strong> is a 6-1 middle hitter/outside hitter for NKYVC 15-1 Tsunami. A Holy Cross (Covington) student-athlete, Hunt is highly productive on the court and among the top players in the state heading into her high school sophomore season. Agile and athletic, Hunt possesses a stellar skill set that allows her to excel as both a middle hitter and an outside hitter. </p>
<p><strong>Riley McCloskey (2025)</strong> is a 5-10 middle blocker for NKYVC 14-1 Tsunami. Versatile with a diverse skill set, McCloskey is capable of delivering from multiple positions. A student-athlete from Newport Central Catholic, McCloskey is a strong hitter who elevates well at the net.</p>
