We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the high school volleyball season and have been also hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Jasmine Williams [2021] 5-4 Libero (HS: Cornerstone Christian/Club: Alamo/Signed: St. Edward’s)
Jasmine is currently unranked in our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Cornerstone Christian and Alamo Volleyball out of the San Antonio area. She is a stud defensive specialist/libero who showcases excellent technique to go along with superb footwork while competing on the court. What I love the most is her balance during movement to the ball and during contact. She is able to slow/calm her upper body down while extending for balls outside of her body when digging and it creates such a soft contact on the ball which leads to a fantastic and consistent ball to her setter. She truly excels in the serve receive game also and her abilities will translate well to the college game. We are extremely proud to announce that she has just committed to play volleyball at the next level. She has chosen to play at St. Edward’s University. We are very happy for her. Please congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.
Allie Hair [2022] 6-0 Outside (HS: Liberty Hill/Club: Austin Juniors/ Verbal: Lamar University)
Miss Hair is currently unranked in the 2022 class according to our State Rankings but that could change once we update the rankings in a few months. She plays for Liberty Hill High School and club for Austin Juniors. We are pleased to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at Lamar University. Due to her high level of play at Liberty Hill this past season she was able to earn 25-5A 2ndTeam All District. She drives extremely hard on every route and has an absolute cannon for an arm. If anyone gives her a seam, she is a guaranteed ten foot line smash! We really like what we see and have put her on our watch list for our next update to the rankings. Please congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level and stay tuned to see where she falls on the rankings.
Eliza Konvicka [2022] 6-2 Right Side (HS: Bellaire/Club: TAV Houston/Verbal: Cornell University)
Eliza is currently unranked in the 2021 class according to our State Rankings. She plays for Bellaire High School and club for TAV Houston. We are pleased to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at Cornell University. She is a wonderful right side from the Houston area. She has great hand contact on the ball and is able to control her attack pretty well when deciding to cut around a block. One-on-one situations usually end up in a kill when she goes hard cross. She is capable of playing on either pin and is a shut down blocker as well. What Cornell will love is her overall depth of volleyball skills to add to their arsenal as she is able to pass in serve receive if they need her to. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dreams of playing sports at the next level.
