Centerville High School is hosting a three-day event this weekend featuring several high school teams from around the greater Cincinnati area. Here are five athletes to look for:

Sara Newberry - MB | Badin HS
The 6’1 middle is coming off a solid club season at Elevation and brings with her increased experience and aggressiveness on both sides of the ball. She was Badin’s second leading producer offensively a season ago as a sophomore at two kills per set while leading them defensively at 2.4 blocks per match.

Kaylen Pot - DS/L | Lebanon HS
Pot is a rising senior for a team that has a lot of veteran leadership and a good core of ball control and defensive presence. Her calm demeanor on the floor includes good patience and efficient reaction to the ball coming off the opponent’s arm. She should make bigger contributions for the Warriors this fall that will help their big offense go to work.

[player_tooltip player_id="143322" first="Caroline" last="Moyer"] - MB | Dayton Christian
Moyer is the Warriors’ leading offensive threat from a year ago and should be poised for a big senior season. She had the most attempts in their offense while earning four kills per set and hitting at a .330 clip. She was also among team leaders in total service aces while leading the team defensively with 10 digs per match.

[player_tooltip player_id="137153" first="Logan" last="Dixon"] - OH | Springboro
The 5’9 senior outside hitter will pair with one of the state’s best in the 2024 class to carry the offensive load for the Panthers at the pins. In 2020 she averaged 2.7 kills per set and nearly nine digs per match. Springboro should be experienced as they had only two seniors a year ago in finishing 18-6 overall.

Claudia Imwalle - OH | Archbishop Alter
Imwalle was Alter’s biggest offensive threat a year ago averaging 2.2 kills per set. The 5’8 senior is the team’s veteran six-rotation leader. She handled a lot of the team’s first contact serve receive action and also contributed well on the defensive side with nearly 10 digs per match.
