Prep Dig Kentucky Recruiting Notebook
<p>Heading into the 2021 high school volleyball season, prep student-athletes from across Kentucky continue to make commitments to compete at the next level. </p>
<p>Senior outiside hitter/right side hitter <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="104537" first="Avery" last="Alexander"]</strong> (Lexington Catholic High School/Lexington United Volleyball 17 Adidas) has committed to the College of Charleston. Versatile with a diverse skill set, Alexander can hit consistently from either side of the net and block. Alexander is explosive at the net, can deliver from both the front row and the back row and contribute routinely as a primary passer. </p>
<p>Junior setter <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68145" first="Jamison" last="Gordon"]</strong> (Frederick Douglass High School/Lexington United Volleyball 16 Adidas) has committed to Xavier University. A vocal leader, Gordon possesses strong communication skills and runs the offense effectively. Defensively, Gordon, who has a solid all-around skill set, digs and blocks regularly.</p>
<p>Junior libero/defensive specialist <strong>Kamden Schrand</strong> (Notre Dame Academy/Tri-State Elite Volleyball) has committed to the University of Louisville. A defensive standout who is carrying momentum over into the upcoming high school volleyball season, Schrand excels when digging and pursuing. Schrand is a productive back row hitter who can produce from the front row as well. </p>
