The top-ranked prospect in our 2022 Prep Dig State Rankings, [player_tooltip player_id="87389" first="Averi" last="Carlson"] is arguably the best setter in her age group in the entire country. She was instrumental in her high school Lovejoy’s victories at the last two State Championships and has registered more than 3,500 assists in three seasons of high school volleyball. A six-footer, she’s tall, smart, technical and has all the tools to succeed in the position. She has committed to play for Baylor at the collegiate level.

[player_tooltip player_id="87401" first="Ally" last="Batenhorst"] – Outside Hitter – HS: Seven Lakes – Club: Houston Juniors - 2021

A 6’4” outside hitter, [player_tooltip player_id="87401" first="Ally" last="Batenhorst"] ranked second on our 2021 Prep Dig State Rankings during the last season. Her offensive power from either the left of the right sides of the net is certainly her most impressive asset as a player but what sets Batenhorst apart from other strong outside hitters is her ability to contribute in other areas of the game too with her strong passing and digging. She was pivotal in Seven Lakes’ victory last season and after taking home numerous awards, including the Gatorade National Player of the Year, is set to join national powerhouse Nebraska after the tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id="87390" first="Shaylee" last="Shore"] – Middle Blocker – HS: Prosper – Club: Skyline – 2021

One of the top middle blockers of her generation, [player_tooltip player_id="87390" first="Shaylee" last="Shore"] ranked eight on our 2021 Prep Dig State Rankings. At 6’2”, she’s very long but also athletic and moves extremely well at the net. Her movement makes the game easier for Shore as she seems to be always one step ahead of her opponents, either on offense or when blocking. She’s a powerful hitter too and is set to take her talent to Rice University shortly.
