These Oklahoma athletes have waited long enough to enjoy some recognition for being such great volleyball players. These young ladies are ready to take the court by storm now that high school volleyball is back on for a full season. They just finished their club seasons and we have some updates on how it went. We couldn’t be happier to give them kudos for their hard work as we announce their placement on the Prep Dig State Rankings List.
Casady McKinney Casady McKinney 5'7" | S Mustang | 2022 State OK [2022] 5-7 Setter (HS: Mustang/Club: Rise/Verbal: Mid-America Christian)
Casady is currently ranked as our 16th best overall prospect and the 3rd best setter in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Mustang High School and a great club program in Rise Volleyball. Casady is a fantastic setter who can dish it out with the best of them. I love how she is able to jump set all positions with ease. Miss McKinney is able to go over on two with her left hand and hit the zone one corner to score for her team. She is already verbally committed to play volleyball for Mid America Christian. They are going to love having her on campus and on their roster. Please help us congratulate her on achieving such great accomplishments of being a top player in the state and also achieving her dream of playing at the next level. Stay tuned for more on her senior year.
Joeci Hunt Joeci Hunt 5'5" | DS/L Edmond Memorial | 2022 State OK [2022] 5-5 Libero (HS: Edmond Memorial/Club: Oklahoma Peak Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Joeci is currently ranked as our 17th best overall prospect and the 3rd best libero in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Edmond Memorial High School and also club volleyball for the great Oklahoma Peak Performance. She has a solid platform and I love how soft her touch is on the ball. She truly excels at attacks that are outside her range and they always seem to land near the setter target. Miss Hunt was a big reason why her high school program was able to go 15-6 overall and 9-3 in district last year. Her senior year should be something to watch as she is ready to be one of the floor generals for the Bulldogs. We are excited to have her as part of our Oklahoma State Rankings. Please congratulate her on the special achievement.
Lexi Erb Lexi Erb 6'0" | MB Okay | 2022 State OK [2022] 6-0 Middle (HS: Okay/Club: Club ONE/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Lexi is currently ranked as our 18th best overall prospect and the 6th best middle in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She is a stud patrolling the net for Okay High School and a great club team in Club ONE. This stud scholar is also a standout on the basketball court as well. Whatever she decides to do in the future we are sure she will shine. On the volleyball court, she shines in the middle for any team she plays for. She is a huge presence at the net for the Mustangs and when she is on, her team feeds off of it. Lexi is no stranger to accolades as she was named the 2019 MVP of the State Quarterfinals. Please help us congratulate her on being one of the best volleyball players in the state. We are excited to have her in our Prep Dig Family and look forward to watching her senior season.
