2022 State Ranked Standouts Vol 3

<p>We are venturing all around the state to explore a few players we haven’t written about yet on our State Rankings List.  These Oklahoma athletes have waited long enough to enjoy some recognition for being such great volleyball players.  These young ladies are ready to take the court by storm now that high school volleyball is back on for a full season.  They just finished their club seasons and we have some updates on how it went.  We couldn’t be happier to give them kudos for their hard work as we announce their placement on the Prep Dig State Rankings List. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="144090" first="Mazi" last="Watson"] [2022] 5-9 Outside (HS: Deer Creek/Club: Rise/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Mazi is currently ranked as our19^thbest overall prospect in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  She plays for Deer Creek High School and a great club program in Rise Volleyball.  Mazi is a six rotation left side pin hitter who can light it up on the stat book.  She helped her Deer Creek HS team go 9-5 overall and also 8-2 in district last year.  She is poised for a great senior season as they have just gotten underway.  This young lady hits a heavy ball from either pin. She has enough power to hit through a block, tool it out of bounds and also the body control to turn and hit line around a block.  Deer creek also loves to run play sets with her and bring her around for the second tempo attack out of free ball plays in which she scores at a good clip from.  Please help us congratulate her on achieving such great accomplishments of being a top player in the state.  Stay tuned for more on her senior year. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="144142" first="Kathryn" last="Christie"] [2022] 6-0 Right Side (HS: Edmond North/Club: Oklahoma Charge/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Kathryn is currently ranked as our 20^thbest overall prospect in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  She plays for Edmond North High School and also club volleyball for the great Oklahoma Charge program.  This young lady is part of the famed ten-foot club, which means her approach touch is ten feet high.  This is a metric that will attract a lot of attention from college scouts. The lengthy opposite has a whip of an arm that absolutely destroys the ball during her attacks. Opponents have a difficult time slowing her offense down as she is able to hit at the true peak of her reach.  We think she has tons of potential and she should be on a lot of college radars with her play.  She should be able to earn all city honors again like she did last school season.  We are excited to have her as part of our Oklahoma State Rankings.  Please congratulate her on the special achievement. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="144091" first="Elaina" last="Murray"] [2022] 5-10 Outside (HS: Edmond North/Club: Oklahoma Peak Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Elaina is currently ranked as our 21^stbest overall prospect in the 2022 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  She is the other half of the dynamic pin attacking duo for Edmond North High School and she also plays club for the awesome Oklahoma Peak Performance program.  Don’t let her small stature fool you as this young lady packs a solid punch from the left side pin.  What I love the most about her play is the fact that she can change her approach mid set if it is a little off and still utilize her momentum off of her last two steps in order to hit the ball with a lot of power.  This young lady has what it takes to move up our rankings soon with her stellar play on the court.  She routinely accumulates double digit kills during school ball and Edmond North will be relying on her to take them on a path to State.  Please help us congratulate her on being one of the best volleyball players in the state.  We are excited to have her in our Prep Dig Family and look forward to watching her senior season. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes.  If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info on them at nov8vb@yahoo.com.  Also don’t forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends.  Help us help them by simply retweeting on Twitter or sharing on Facebook.  Thanks for following Oklahoma Family!</p>
