2023 State Rankings Newest Additions – Aug Update Vol 2

<p>We began our rankings last March with only the top 50 players in the state ranked on our list. We have gotten some awesome leads from parents, players, coaches, and club directors for more players we should be watching.  After over a year of analyzing game film, seeing athletes in person and looking at club tournament finishes and the past high school season, we were able to add more players to the prestigious list.  We now have the top 140 players in the Lone Star State ranked in the 2023 grad class.  We are extremely excited to welcome these ladies to such a prestigious group.  We have written about some of these athletes before, however we are going to now re-introduce them but now with their much deserved overall State Ranking attached to their name.  Congratulate them on social media or in person the next time you see them. Welcome to the list ladies…</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="153297" first="Ryan" last="Williams"] [2023] 5-10 Right Side (HS: Travis/Club: Houston Juniors/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Ryan to the 2023 Prep Dig State Rankings.  We have her listed as the 68^thbest overall prospect in the state.  Miss Williams plays for Fort Bend Travis High School and also for the famed Houston Juniors out of the Lone Star region.  She is an extremely athletic right side hitter who absolutely rips the ball anywhere she wants to for Travis HS.  This young lady has awesome power that can score on anyone if they give her the seam to swing through.  Her long arms and amazingly high reach make it difficult for anyone to slow her down. In two years since starting on varsity at Travis, she has tallied 301 kills on a .235 hitting percentage.  She has also managed to accumulate 77 blocks and 83 digs.  We want to welcome her with open arms to our State Ranking List and can’t wait to watch her progress in the future.  Please congratulate her on the achievement of being a top Texas volleyball player. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="153301" first="Stratton" last="Sneed"] [2023] 5-11 Right Side (HS: Clear Creek/Club: Houston Stellar/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please help us welcome Stratton officially to the list as the 77^thbest overall prospect in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings.  Miss Sneed plays at Clear Creek HS and also club for the always strong Houston Stellar volleyball club out of the south east side of Houston.  She has really stepped it up and already eclipsed her entire last year’s stats in this young season.  Clear Creek has unleashed her potential and has a star for the next two years.  Stratton decimates the ball with such a heavy arm and every player in her way should look out when she makes contact.  I really like how high she makes contact.  It should really keep her offensive arsenal extremely potent for the foreseeable future.  Please congratulate her on being part of the Prep Dig State Rankings.  We are excited to cover her junior and senior seasons. She has truly earned her spot and shouldn’t lose it as long as she stays on course.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="153293" first="Danielle" last="Classy"] [2023] 5-10 Outside (HS: NB Canyon/Club: Tri-County Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Danielle to the Prep Dig State Rankings.  She has earned the right to be called the 83^rdbest overall prospect in the 2023 class.  She is a solid six rotation outside pin hitter from New Braunfels Canyon High School and also plays club for TCVA our of the North East side of the San Antonio and surrounding areas.  As a junior for a very talented program, she has quickly become a focal point of the offense for her varsity team.  They have asked her to step up to the plate and boy has she.  In this young season, she already has 94 kills and is hitting .200. They are currently 22-5 and she is a big reason why.  We fully expect them to dominate in their district and we will be watching very closely. We love watching how she cocks back and unloads on the ball.  She takes a very mean and violent approach to the ball every time on the right side and it is fun to watch.  It truly helps her utilize torque and momentum to hit a very hard attack.  Please congratulate her on being named one of the top volleyball players in the state.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We have tons of new players to introduce you to that got added to our 2023 rankings with the new update and tons who moved up and down the list.  We will be publishing more articles daily to give the recognition to each athlete that has earned the right to be called a top 140 Texas Volleyball Player.  Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes.  If you have anyone you think we should watch out for or that you think have what it takes to be added to our database, please shoot me an email with some info at nov8vb@yahoo.com</p>
