<p>Class 2 will be a senior dominant class this year. This class will be wide open for anyone this year. With the success factor in Missouri, a couple of the private schools possibly will leave this class and open up for a new champion. Let us take a look at some of the key players returning in Class 2.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="119203" first="Sam" last="Loida"]-Senior-Valle Catholic</strong></p>
<p>Dishing out 67 assists in the title match [player_tooltip player_id="119203" first="Sam" last="Loida"] did all she could to get the state title. Loida led the Warriors to a 2nd place finish in Class 2 with a 17-19 loss in the 5th to Christian. Ending a junior year with a class 2 trophy and 981 assists, Loida will look to get back to the state title match. What class Valle Catholic will play is still undetermined until the MSHSAA releases class breakdowns. </p>

<p><strong>Alli Mitchell-Senior-Miller</strong></p>
<p>The 5’0 firecracker is looking to guide Miller to back-to-back final fours. Finished in second behind [player_tooltip player_id="119203" first="Sam" last="Loida"] for Class 2 assist totals with 888 assists and contributed 282 digs. Miller returned its entire lineup from the 3<sup>rd</sup> place finish last year. Depending on where the private schools move, Miller could be the top Class 2 team. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="119192" first="Jianna" last="Halbrook"]-Senior-Pleasant Hope</strong></p>
<p>Returning for her senior year, Jianna is looking to have another solid year. She finished her junior year ranked 4<sup>th</sup> in Class 2with 354 Kills and 294 digs. Season-high 26 kills in a 3-2 win over Conway. </p>

<p><strong>Summer Kenney-Junior-Stockton</strong></p>
<p>Junior had a solid sophomore year where she finished in 5<sup>th</sup> place in kills in Class 2 and 3<sup>rd</sup> for all returning Class 2 players. —finished the sophomore year with 349 kills and 410 digs. Season-high 27 kills in 2 matches last year.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="119212" first="Kaylee" last="Helton"]-Senior-Miller</strong></p>
<p>Part of a talented group of seniors at Miller that finished 3<sup>rd</sup> in Class 2. Helton finished the year with 326 kills and 307 digs. She will be one of the top outside hitters returning in Class 2. Season-high 17 kills in a 3-0 win over Clever.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="119213" first="Ella" last="Bertram"]-Senior-Valle Catholic</strong></p>
<p>The Warriors are returning a couple of key contributors from last year’s Class 2 2<sup>nd</sup> place team. Ella Certram completed last season with 307 kills, a .408% hitting percentage, and 158 blocks. Placing her in 5<sup>th</sup> place in kills and 1<sup>st</sup> in blocks for all returning Class 2 players. Season-highs 21 kills in a 3-1 win over Potosi and ten blocks in 3 separate matches.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="123464" first="Anna" last="Harrold"]-Junior-Lawson</strong></p>
<p>Lawson completed last season with a 4<sup>th</sup> place finish in Class 2. Harrold returns to lead the Cardinals again this season. She finished up a sophomore year with 294 kills, a .341 hitting percentage, and 289 digs. With 19 kills in the state playoff win over West Platte was a season-high for Harrold.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="123463" first="Zoe" last="Reel"]-Junior-Crane</strong></p>
<p>The 5’11 junior finished with 390 kills last year with Crane. As a junior, she has transferred, and we are still looking for her new school. Season-high 33 kills in a 2-3 loss to Monett.</p>
