Four 2022 15th Region Middle Blockers to Watch

Thriving at the net, middle blockers are helping to lead teams throughout the 2021 high school volleyball season. </p>
<p>Here are four 2022 15th Region middle blockers to watch. </p>
<p><strong>Hannah Akers</strong> is a senior middle blocker for Pikeville High School. Akers reads opposing hitters to set up blocks successfully. A player who possesses solid jumping skills and produces at the net<span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">, Akers is a talented blocker. </span></p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68120" first="Madison" last="Hamilton"]</strong> is a senior middle blocker for Betsy Layne High School. Hamilton reads the setter and adjusts her approach to get the most out of attacks regularly. Productive, Hamilton executes fast attacks frequently. </p>
<p><strong>Caley Howard</strong> is a senior middle blocker for Floyd Central High School. Howard blocks well both individually and with teammates, closing blocks regularly. Athletic and fast, Howard uses quick attacks on offense frequently. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="68122" first="Sydney" last="May"]</strong> is a senior middle blocker for Johnson Central High School. Aggressive and strong along the middle of the net, May blocks consistently. May is agile and moves well from side to side. </p>
