The competition to be seen by college coaches is fierce. So many hope to receive offers to continue their playing careers past their prep years. There are some who quickly make a name for themselves and then others that have to work harder to be seen, and here I want to introduce you to some of those who are the athletes from the Madison area. These athletes have proven their abilities on the court and are going to be players you want to keep on your radar.

[player_tooltip player_id="91910" first="Ally" last="Saleh"] – 2023 – 5’11 – Right Side Hitter – Waunakee

Saleh is an up-and-coming player with a heavy arm. She is going to be one to watch as she has 2 more years left in her high school career. Saleh has sound ball control and is attentive at the net in an effort to help defend the attack from the opposing team. If Saleh isn’t on your watch list, I would consider getting out to watch her compete in the near future.

[player_tooltip player_id="149572" first="Eliana" last="Ross"] – 2023 – 5’6 – Libero – Middleton

Ross has some really great movement on defense and knows how to control the hard-driven attack. She is athletic, quick, and reads well. Ross is assertive and consistent in her role, as well as a real competitor.

Lucille Cranley – 2023 – 5’5 – Defensive Specialist – Madison West

The fact that Cranley made this tough athletic team after having no fall high school season speaks volumes about her ability. She is solid in serve-receive and she is an extremely aggressive competitor. Cranley is speedy, unyielding, and all over the ball whenever it enters her territory.

[player_tooltip player_id="81327" first="Kaitlin" last="Jordan"] – 2022 – 6’1 - Middle Blocker - Waunakee

Jordan stands at 6’1 and is going to be a player to watch in her senior year. This middle blocker has height and the athletic ability to make a statement for Waunakee. Jordan is quick and effective as an attacker, and she has the ability to read the other side and successfully communicate on defense. She is an essential resource for her team and is primed for a stellar senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id="91932" first="Rhya" last="Thole"] – 2023 – Middle Blocker/Pin Hitter – Waunakee

Thole takes a big dynamic approach and swing and has the ability to find the hands of the blockers in order to use them for the kill. She knows how to take care of business when she steps onto the court. Thole has a potent swing and has good control over the ball to place it for the kill.

[player_tooltip player_id="91923" first="Sydney" last="Schultz"] – 2023 – 5’7 – Setter – Verona

Schultz stands at 5’7 and shows off her physical skill with her Sting 16 Black squad. She not only has a smooth and steady touch, but she also carries the court awareness and the grit to win. The uncommitted junior is one you may want to consider watching this fall.
