Players to Watch: Class of 2024 Watch List

<p>The rankings are complete and the Class of 2024 is a watch list going into this season and there are some players that we need to take a look at. These players have stood out and are gaining some steam as the fall high school season is about to commence. Let’s look at some of the names for the Class of 2024. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="154694" first="Olivia" last="Colling"], S, Rancocas Valley</p> <p>Colling is the focal point of the core returning for Rancocas Valley. She split time at setter in the spring but she showcased her brilliance on the court with precision passing and leadership. Now, it will be her show this season where she can end up putting up monster numbers after having 103 assists in a shortened-spring season. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="154726" first="Taylor" last="Bartrum"], OH, Cherokee</p> <p>Bartrum is the significant piece returning from a very senior-heavy Cherokee squad in the spring. She played immediately as a freshman and showcased her athleticism with a live arm. Now, the team is hers as the number 1 so teams will be keen on stopping her. Watch for her to be fed consistently as this team will go as far as she can carry them. Watch for monster numbers. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="154733" first="Lauren" last="Osuala"], OH, Kent Place</p> <p>Osuala was a major surprise for Kent Place in the spring after some significant pieces opting out, she stepped in and made an immediate impact. She led the team in kills with 94 and showcased her raw talent with a live arm and ability to play as an all-around outside. A key component to see will be how she adjusts now that teams have seen her. My thoughts is that she will be even more dominant this season by starting to add some creativity in her offensive game. </p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="154692" first="Maria" last="Theruviparambi"], MB, West Windsor-Plainsboro South</p> <p>Theruviparambi had a solid freshman campaign in the middle for West Windsor-Plainsboro South racking up 22 kills and 20 blocks. Her ability to impact a match regardless if her a part of game is not on showcases her maturity already and true potential. Now, she will be the number 2 option for the squad so this is her opportunity to step into the spotlight and run with it. </p>
